Yes, it's installed in my 2005 Classic.
There are only a few circuits that have power when the ignition switch is in the Accessoriesy position. Make sure the Hogtunes are powered by a circuit that stays on in the Accessory position, such as your radio's power lead.
Yes, according to my husband, and it works perfectly. It connects quickly and performs admirably once it's been set up.

I was using the cheap battery-powered receivers that plugged into your aux port until I bought this, and aside from the batteries dying at the most inconvenient times, the connection was iffy at best, and I fumbled with it frequently. I was hesitant to pull the fairing apart because a couple of my friends had the Hogtunes setup and raved about it, but I'm glad I did because this thing is awesome. It was simple to set up and so far, it has performed admirably. I would strongly suggest it!.
For $130, you're still plugging into an auxiliary output and doing some labor that's a little more difficult. I made the decision not to proceed. I can still get the results I want by plugging in a small Bluetooth unit directly into the auxiliary. Also, the ring that is supposed to replicate the chrome ring on the original gauges had a poor finish. I recommend that you save your money.
It's wired, but it won't turn on. Contact the company; they are looking for a variety of images and can provide a variety of solutions. Sure, let me remove the fairing for the tenth time; I enjoy the exercise. The final solution was to return this and use the aux cord zip tied to my RAM mount. It wasn't particularly attractive, and I lost the important ambient air pressure gauge, but I don't have to deal with another Bluetooth device now.
This is a bad product; installation was simple, but I've had trouble keeping the device connected. When you ride, it will connect and sound fine. The connection will then be lost for no apparent reason, and the only way I've found to re-establish it is to cycle power to the bike, which I do several times each time I use it. If it could only keep the connection, the product would be perfect. I've tried a few different approaches and have ruled out both the phone and any installation issues.
I only wish I'd been aware of this product earlier. Buying a new radio is a lot more difficult and expensive.
Yes, it works, but it will fall out of the aux plug, requiring you to use an extension cord and keep it in your dash bag, preventing you from progressing or replaying songs. You also have to constantly turn it on, back off, and charge it up, which is inconvenient for long rides! This dash-mounted unit runs on bike power, and the controls are simple to use even with gloves on. Anyone who uses anything else is a squanderer!.
The music is far superior to that of a CD.
It comes with hog tunes uppers, lowers, and a tour pack mount, as well as two hog tunes amplifiers. Superb craftsmanship!.
