A standard bare wire connection is acceptable. They have a connector that is operated by a push button.
It sounds good, but with an amp, it would be even better.
According to my research, the IP rating is 66. So, yes, as long as they're mounted using standard methods.
There's no reason why it shouldn't, as long as it gets enough power to work.

Installed in a street glide with a Sony headunit and a 100w x 2 RMS amp. The speakers distorted at low volumes and had a harsh sound with overpowering peaks that I couldn't get rid of with EQ. I wouldn't buy these again because I got what I paid for by trying to save money, and I had to replace them after only two days of use. I paid a little more for some dB motoG2 and it was well worth it.
The fact that they are weatherproof prompted my purchase. I believe one of them blew because the power was too much for it to handle. You must pay if you wish to participate in the game.
It was simple to install, and the slim design allowed it to easily fit into the fairing of my Harley. Midway through, I was a little let down. The sounds are quieter, but they are loud. I'm going to try moving them to the back pods and see if that improves the bass response.
That sounds fantastic.
200rms clear.
These looked great in the front fairing of my 2016 CVO Street Glide. I was able to connect them to the Boom Stage II amplifier that came with the package.
For the money, these are excellent speakers. I only wish there was a water-resistant coaxial speaker.
