I have been on several long rides and this mount stayed in place. With the phone bracket mounted on the bracket, it can be swiveled in every direction. It is held securely in place by a screw on the back. Unlike the previous phone mount I had, the current one does not cover the side buttons on my phone, which was a major complaint I had with my last one. If you place the phone in the mount, it will expand up and out, so it will fit any Android or iPhone. I like this product a lot.
It's exactly what it should be. I have used it for over a 1000 miles now on my 2007 Road Glide and am satisfied with its performance. With an Otter Box Defender on it, I have had no issues with the S10+.
As of now, I am happy with the results. It was too heavy to put on the middle bar of my StreetStrider, but I was able to attach it to the arm bar, and having it there where I can glance at it to see how many miles I have ridden and how fast I am going makes a huge difference.
A nice lock feature is included as well. The mount is a little flimsy and it comes with a few rubber shims you need to use. Thus, it is not necessary to remove them. When I began using only one at first, it spun downward so there was no way to read the GPS so I had to get another one. Generally, I think this is a pretty good little holder and I even tested it on the highway at about 80 mph and it did not budge even after I added the rubber mounting.
I was satisfied with the ease of use, the ease of installation, and the ease of cleaning this phone holder. A sturdy phone holder holds the phone securely while allowing most if not all phone functions to be accessed. I cannot consider myself an expert on mountain biking as I'm a road warrior. There is no doubt that this product will meet all your needs!.
