A dirt helmet is what I purchased this for. It is easy to hear your phone calls and listen to music using this system. I used the clip that was supplied with my helmet (Fly Kinetic), but if the sidewall was any thicker, it may not have fit. It'd be nice if you could let me know when you try the intercom function. As of right now, my only complaint is that the buttons are a bit hard to find while riding, but as soon as you figure out where they are, that won't be a problem any longer.
The seller contacted me and sent me a metal bracket in place of the plastic one. The quality is much better and the frame is much more sturdy. I did not like the previous plastic one, since it snapped after a short period Besides that, this is a great unit that's reasonable in terms of quality versus cost. The product is good and I would buy it In terms of functionality, it is fine. It connects to your phone easily and has decent battery life. The speakers and sound, while not the best, are still loud enough and clear enough to enjoy while riding. It works well, but the clamp that attaches to the helmet is cheap. Although I had mine on there for 3 weeks, it snapped right off one day while I was riding, no over tightening either, and I grabbed it while it was dangling by the speaker cable. However, without some new clamping mechanism, it is It's your choice, so take the chance.
The purpose of using this is to communicate with another rider. The ability to chat while riding rather than yelling into the wind makes things much more enjoyable for everyone. We found a way to make it fit in a bike helmet, despite the fact that it is not made for that. I am very pleased with the result. Mountain biking in the woods is made more convenient by the range, which is equivalent to several blocks. It is good to have a long battery life. In order to recharge, we have to ride several times.
So, when you have your phone in your hand, you can listen to the audio when you are alone, and switch to intercom mode (when you are riding with a partner) by pressing the intercom button. You can talk to your team via In addition to yourself, you can add up to 4 additional members to the chat (october 21, 2013). I can get three or four 2 hours of use from the battery When I am just listening to my audio on my phone, I can ride for three hours. The battery lasts about 8 hours for me if I'm in a team chat (which takes about an hour to recharge). I am very satisfied with the overall result!.
These have been my go-to bikes for around a year now and I haven't had any issues. One full charge lasts for around a week with daily use. It connects to other riders and the phone with a touch of a button, and it responds quickly. There was also one rider who led about two freeway exits distance without any kind of connection loss. The product is fantastic and I highly recommend it!.
They sound good within 1/4 mile of each other, but any further than that it's not really useful.
I'm a little bummed out that only 2 people can talk at the same time. It appears you need the v4 to have more than two people talk at the same time. Although it's cheap, the sound is decent, it could have a little more volume due to wind noise, but is more than adequate for the purpose. You should consider investing the extra money if you and your buddy are riding more than once and you want.
Connecting the wires to the main box is problematic on all of them. I have not heard back from anyone regarding the other comment I left about the first Bluetooth, and I am very disappointed with VNET at the moment. I spent 90 bucks on headphones that will last for only 2 weeks? You can save a lot of money by using 3 words.
