It's simple to wire up and put together, and it works perfectly. For about 5 minutes, I rode in light rain while charging my phone. I completely forgot it was open, but it didn't cause any issues. I wouldn't recommend riding with anything plugged in, and I certainly won't do so again, but it hasn't caused any issues in the weeks since. 10/10!.
On a 2018 Husky Tx300, I installed it. While your device is plugged in, it will not be weatherproof. That doesn't seem possible to me.
It's simple to set up and use, and the device performs admirably. Time will tell how well it stands up to the elements, but it appears to be well-made, so I don't anticipate any problems. Bonus- Because the plug is similar to that found on many standard motorcycle trickle chargers, the battery connection port can also be used to connect a battery charger for winter storage.
It's simple to set up, it works well, and it charges Sony Xperia phones. It's also waterproof.
It's exactly what I needed; the only thing is that I wish it had an on/off switch, so I'll have to modify it to avoid draining my bike battery, but overall, it's a fantastic product that does exactly what I need it to do.
Using the included sticky pad and zip ties, it was simple to install the leads and wire them up.
With just two connections, you'll be up and running in no time. I haven't had it long enough to determine how weatherproof it is, but there are no indications that it will be an issue.
It turned out to be wonderful. It's been nearly five months since I got it. br>br>However, I'm fairly certain that the o terminals are what melted my battery terminals. br>br>I had no problems with fuses or it not charging my iPhone.
