It includes the items depicted in the photo. This information was confirmed by my local Honda dealer, who examined a package of one of these items in their inventory. br>This product is designed to work with lead-acid batteries. Amazon has placed this item on hold in order for the shipper to provide both the Honda and the manufacturer's part numbers, as well as a list of the included accessories. My rating reflects what I expect this product to do, but it does not reflect the difficulties I faced in resolving the issue.
There's nothing more aggravating than turning the key and getting nothing in return. That is no longer the case!.
This Honda battery tender was purchased to keep the battery for my Honda generator charged. It was simple to set up and appears to function properly; I'll know for sure the next time I use it.
Very good gear.
It's a must-have accessory for the eu7000.
This is a fantastic small charger.
It's fantastic.
I came across part number 31670-A from Honda. HPE- I ordered one from my local Honda generator dealer after seeing a Honda representative on a blog recommend it for use with their model EU7000is generator. Model 021- was the item I received. Deltran's 0128 Battery Tender The package has a label on it that says it's a genuine Honda part, but I was concerned because the picture on Amazon shows a sticker on the Battery Tender that says "programmed for gel batteries," but mine didn't. In fact, Deltran produces a different Battery Tender (021-) than the one shown above. The 021-programmed for "true gel cell" batteries, but the description of the 0156-programmed for "true gel cell" batteries, but the description of the 021-programmed for "true gel cell According to 0128, gel batteries can also be used. So, what's the matter with me? When I took the battery out of my EU7000is generator, it said Yuasa Battery Inc. YTZ14S is an abbreviation for YTZ14S, which 230 CCA / 8 Ah (20 hours). Method of charging: Typical normal 1. 1A x 510(h); 1A x 511(h); 1A x 511(h); Quick 5. 1 (h) x 5A It does not appear to be a gel battery. However, when I looked up Yuasa YTZ14S batteries on the internet, I found conflicting information as to whether or not they are gel batteries. Finally, I contacted Honda customer service, who informed me that the EU7000is battery is NOT a gel battery. I installed the hookup wires on my generator, assuming that the Battery Tender's slightly faster charging rate than the battery's recommended charging rate isn't a problem. There's a stumbling block in the way. A remote starter can be installed using the outtab on the battery cover. By jabbing the plastic with a box cutter and pliers, I was able to remove only the top half of the knockout. I didn't want to put a hole in the front of the cover because I didn't have a square grommet. Because the connectors had to be bent to accommodate the design of the generator's battery cables, and the screws were barely long enough, installing the wires was a bit of a challenge. It was also a pain to pull the hood over the positive terminal while both wires were running through it. I left about two inches of wire protruding from the generator and stuffed the rest into the battery compartment. I also secured the wire to the battery cover grill with a couple of nylon pull ties, leaving plenty of slack so the cover could be easily put on and taken off. Everything appears to be in perfect working order. Okay, and now I don't have to worry about my generator starting because my battery is dead.
