I decided to try this charger after reading a positive online review. My 1995 Club Car DS is currently being charged by it. It appears to be working perfectly. Unlike traditional chargers, this one is much smaller and compact. The integrated float/maintenance mode is something we're really looking forward to. A warranty of 18 months is also fantastic.
I ordered another "quick" portable charger from Amazon for around $75, but it was defective right out of the box, with the crow feet not fitting into the receptacle. This charger is small and light, and the crow feet easily fit into the receptacle, quickly charging my batteries. It's currently plugged in and "floating," which means it's charging my batteries. I'm in ecstasy right now.
This is incredible! It was exactly as described. The first photo shows the maximum charge from my old charger, while the second photo shows the first charge from this charger. I was finally able to fully charge my batteries, and when they reached their maximum capacity, it went into monitoring mode. Exceptional! It's also amazing how much the sizes differ.
We have an old 1981 Yamaha golf cart that was given to us many years ago by a friend. It just keeps going (as far as repairs are concerned). The original transformer was in use. a timer-controlled based charger - which stopped working years ago, forcing us to manually monitor and turn off. My wife uses it on a daily basis for yard and garden chores, as well as taking the grandchildren for rides. We had never fully charged it before, so it would frequently run out of power. To make things easier, I sandwiched the charger between two garage doors. It performs as expected, shutting down when the battery is fully charged. My wife unplugs it and hangs the cord from a hook in the morning. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.
The only drawback is that it is made in China. It does exactly what it says. Because the initial charge took 21 hours to complete, the batteries must have been very low. The cart is in excellent working order. The only drawback is that it is made in China. Make them in the United States of America.
Charges quickly, and the charger arrived in good condition. br> I had a technical question that turned out to be a problem with my wiring. It's a pleasure to work with such nice people.
This charger performs admirably. It made me very happy. It charges quickly and quietly. It is very light. I have joint pain in my hands and wrists, but I don't have any trouble moving them one-handed. handed. The only thing I'd like to see is an on/off switch so that I don't have to worry about it constantly drawing power when it's not in use.
This is a fantastic upgrade from the old heavy chargers that may have come with your older cart. It's small and light enough to carry on your person or in your cart, and it works well with a higher amperage. Although the price was higher than other options, I am still happy with what I paid and the product I received: it charges and then turns off. It will recharge the batteries if they become too low. I'm not sure how much more I could ask for.
