Questions & Answers

Do you think this is too large to fit in ?

You can mount the mini 2 on the bottom, or it can be mounted on top. Mini 2 will fit on top and can be mounted on top. You can block the button or the vents without obstructing either. You do need to note however that it puts the mini 2 over 250 grams, so it needs to be registered with the FAA in the USA

Is it mounted on a wall or floor? This is not included in the product information provided by the manufacturer. ?

I was given 3 pieces of 3M tape along with it. A single piece of the mounting system was double sided and the other two pieces were hook and loop (velcro), so you can take the light off and put it back on when you're done with it. Mounting the light on the aircraft will still allow it to be charged.

Do you know if this works with the Mavic Mini? I want to attach it, but how do I do ?

I believe that it is so small that the mini can attach to it. The light comes with adhesive velcro, so one side of the velcro can be attached to the mini while the other side of the velcro can be attached The strobe light can be removed and charged this way, and then you can put it back in The visibility from the ground of the aircraft is greatly enhanced by attaching it to the bottom of the mini, and I use it

How much battery drain occurs when a device is mounted but not switched In just 4 days, I mounted the light brand new, charged it, and flew it for the first time. There was no power in the battery. ?

During the course of a day, any battery will drain. I find that the batteries of my drone lose half of their capacity if I don't fly for four days. As a result if I don't fly, the whole bill will be charged. Even though I haven't flown for weeks, I have always found the Light battery to be still perfectly fine. Just make sure that it is freshly charged if you are not constantly flying

I have tested many lights, and Firehouse Arc "V" is the brightest I have ever seen
5/5

It has a range of 4 SM, is small and has a brightness of 1000 lumens. In a nutshell, Okay, so I have used Firehouse lights before and have been very pleased with their quality. I've also tried a few other brands from other vendors, but they are largely just copies of Firehouse's original design and are poorly made or are not nearly as bright as the Firehouse lights, and some of them are terribly misleading (you get what you pay for). My new model is by far the brightest I have tested, and the smallest. It puts out 1000 lumens which is amazing for the size of it. The case is very small and fits on my smallest drone (the Mini), up to my largest. It can be attached anywhere and everything fits in it. This case is waterproof and sealed, allowing it to appear low profile so it does not look like a bug. In contrast to polar pro's recent offering, this lens is NOT angled and blocks any light from reaching the sensor regardless of orientation. As well, the Case has a built-in on off switch on the side, so you won't have to worry about accidentally turning it on or finding it dead (just like In addition to white strobes (greatest range), they had a whole assortment of other colors and color combinations as well. With the light, you get very thin and strong 3M velcro (cut to fit) on top and 3M VHB tape on the bottom, allowing you to mount it in different positions. A variety of different vendors make custom mounts for the lights, and they have their own for most models as well. The package also includes a plug and a paper. The paper actually contains testing data supporting the 3+ it is not provided in the package. If you're applying for a waiver, you'll need a mile range rating. It was a good looking light, as indicated by the FAA at 3, 3 and it was easily visible as they state. That is what we tested as the FAA states it is the pilot's responsibility to ensure any light meets the FAA's regulations. I photographed this from the 5 mile mark and at the 4 mile mark on the night of a clear night. Our one on the bottom was mounted on a wall, while the other was mounted We tested the run time with our test unit using a 250 mAh lipo rechargeable battery which gave us in our testing close to 6 hours in strobe, 4 plus hours in flash, and 1 hour in spotlight, and with a very little decrease in brightness as the battery drains. tested strobes from other vendors whose batteries were smaller and the run times were shorter, but the Firehouse units did not dim quickly. In order to keep the unit small, charging comes from the micro usb (we hoped for usb C). Because I used micro usb cables anyway, I do not feel so bad about that as I have a lot of them laying around and use them on many devices. Last but not least, they warranty all of their lights without any questions asked, this is why I use them. A light that I purchased had a bad lipo last year (and I contacted them 6 months after purchase), and they sent me a replacement immediately, without even asking I am quite happy with my purchase and at 34 bucks I could not be happier. It isn't the most expensive or cheapest, but it's the best and it has made my 1000 drone even better. It helps me to meet FAA regulations, and it let's me maintain line of sight, and the new case it even looks great. I am once again grateful for Firehouse's work. Keep it up.

It is time for light to shine! When I'm far away from my Mavic Air 2, it becomes almost impossible to see, so I thought I'd try one of these cameras
5/5

A small LED, this is a remarkably bright item. It certainly allows the drone to remain in sight as it flies, even in Obviously, there is a definite relationship between its effectiveness and the lighting. In a bright sky, it may not be as helpful, but otherwise, it should serve its purpose. It would be very handy to have the LED if you are flying at night (legally, of course). It's easy to install the Firehouse Arc V on a Mavic Air 2 mini drone, but there aren't many places to do so. The sensor was tested on both the bottom surface (behind the camera) and on the rear side To avoid sensor errors, I had to find a sweet spot on the rear location, but both locations worked well and the sensors still functioned properly.

While I would prefer to see a smaller LED with the same output that fit more tightly on the MA2, for now this is certainly an improvement over.

This is an excellent strobe for drones of any size
5/5

Its strobe light for my DJI drone is excellent and very useful. Although it is very small, it is very bright (I had feared it might be too large for my dji mini 2). This watch is very easy to operate and charge. The hand feeling is excellent and it feels good in the hand. As a tiny LED charges, it turns from red to green. In light of the fact that I don't fly at night, I attached the strobe to a detachable landing skid using the included 3M hook and loop. This is why I put a loop (velcro) on the bottom of the vest so I can see it better in daylight. I can see it from far away even in bright daylight. That is the recommendation I would make.

The FAA regulations are met and may even be In order to meet FAA unmanned regulations, this was bought for my DJI Mavic Air 2
5/5

There is so much light that the strobe could be seen on the wall even at a distance of 20'. Even when taking off at night, I cannot look at the drone since I will become blinded! It is now time to start using my drone at night since it is now compliant with the law! You should get it if you're thinking about buying it. Imitators are nothing but wastes of time.

Very good and easy to see at a Received on 12/31 after ordering on 12/28 The expected date was well before the actual However, these strobes are brilliant in every other way
5/5

The Aerial Pixel mounts for my Mavic 2 Pro arms are super bright and small. I'll mount them on my drone's arms with these. Having tried them on a partly sunny day, this was my first time using them. The rear arm is lit once, and the front arm is lit once As I flew directly away from the sun or with a hillside in front of my drone, I was able to see the lights at a distance of 2500'. The light could be seen at 1100 feet distance as I flew at 90 degrees to the sun in a clear sky. I am confident that these will meet my needs more than adequately!.

There is no problem
5/5

Lights like this are hard to come by. My Mavic Air is hooked up to it. No clearance can be found at the bottom of this device, only the top.

The design is very nice, and the visibility is excellent
5/5

The drone was operated at dusk at the top of the gyroscope. From a mile away, it was clearly visible. This will work much better if it's mounted on the bottom I am sure. It is lightweight. The battery life of the drone is great (much better than any other.

Little strobe light with a lot of power
5/5

The powerful strobe light is so bright that if you look directly at it from a short distance, you will be blinded. Aside from its tiny and lightweight build, it has an IP68 rating, which means that you can use it outside. The body is made of solid materials and the lenses provide excellent visibility from all angles. The description states that this charger charges quickly and lasts for an extended period.
