After using the 22-year-old headlights for 22 years, I decided to buy a new set of headlights and these LED bulbs to fix the problem. changed the headlight assembly but kept the old halogen bulbs to perform a comparison. The Winjets were so poor that I could barely detect any difference between them and my old headlights when I turned them off at night, where the old headlights were still usable but dim. As soon as the old headlights were back on my truck, I tried the new LED bulbs in the old headlights. That's so cool! It suddenly became very bright inside my old and slightly yellowed light assemblies, which had traces of algae growing into them. It was as I expected that the LED bulbs would be effective with the new headlight assemblies. In comparison with most aftermarket light housings, OEM light assemblies do have a couple of advantages, such as a beam pattern meant not to blind drivers ahead. Although I am on a highway where there is vibrant illumination, I have not been flashed by an oncoming car. As a result, I was very sensitive to such a problem since I have seen many drivers whose aftermarket lights blinded me. There is a bright but controlled beam pattern that pleases me very much. The LEDs also display a distinct high and low beam split. Up until I installed the bulbs, I was not aware of the tuning feature. As with most headlight assemblies, these LED bulbs can also be angled up and down, as well as left and right. With these bulbs, you can adjust the LED emitters so that the light is emitted sideways or up and down by clicking incrementally in 15° increments. By turning them 180 degrees they come out of the assemblies, so there is no need to disturb the larger lock rings if they are to be removed. The bulbs are bright and beautiful, the beam pattern is the same as stock bulbs, and they fit perfectly (a little snug with the stock collar, so be gentle when putting them on). This would have been great if I had discovered it earlier!.

After installing these in my 1996 Dodge 1500 pickup, the difference has been like night and day. This is an easy-to-install white light that produces a nice, even I am able to see farther down the road and much better along the side of it as well. Since I've been using these for many, many years, I've tried many different brands and these seem to be the best one It looks like these will last a long time and I would definitely recommend them.
