I have been using these Fender Supports on my Jeep TJ flat tube fenders with great results. It was just a matter of plugging them in and wiring them Fits well and has a snug fit. There are three wires on this LED set up so you can connect it to a parking light or turn signal. In the daytime, they can be seen, and in the evening, the garage lights up. As well as that, the side lights are decent. Despite the slight domed shape, the lens is made of one piece, sealed around the edges. The pair was so great that I mounted eight more pairs on each side just like the originals. Wired exactly the same way as the front, so when the signal light is lit and the parking lights are on, the front lights will flash, but not go dark like the factory light would. Because I have just installed these lights, I do not know how long they will last, but seeing as they are LEDs, you should be able to count on them lasting a long time. The front light plugs.
I purchased this item to install a flat fender on my It was an OK purchase, but I was slightly disappointed in it. According to the description, I bought them for the reason that I could use them as running lights AND blinkers at the same time. Once I received them and tried wiring them as per instructions, I realized they could not handle both tasks at the same time. I then read the full description and the very last sentence (which had obviously been added by someone after the original description was written) says they cannot act simultaneously as marker and blinker. I find it terrible that things like these are allowed on the platform of Amazon. However, I couldn't find any suppliers of this kind of light. I found another supplier of almost identical lights that did both, but this one isn't.
These do not get any brighter when the running light is on and when the signal is activated. If they are plugged in either/or there is little difference in brightness, but when they flash there is not much change. There is no problem with their wiring. These do not seem to work as advertised, despite my circuits functioning properly. In hopes of finding one that works, I'll be looking for a replacement.
As far as the actual lights go, they are A small amount of dimming after burn in and what appears to be a good LED -- I give them two stars for doing There is no more good to be found There are a lot of people who seem to buy these for use in their cars. It would be a better idea to look somewhere else for these things since they're borderline unsafe for that use. A gauge of 18). There was never any intent for this stuff to be used in automotive applications. It was a great idea by Partsam, but poor engineering led to its destruction.
In other words, it works as a very bright marker light OR turn signal, but not both at once.
You can use your turn signals to set it to flash. As long as you have your headlights on or parking lights on, it will be illuminated. You can use the turn signal if your parking lights are on, but it will not respond if your parking lights are on. This parking light sits there, lit up in the same way as a traffic light, but without flashing or changing Furthermore, the housing is made of very hard plastic and it is pretty difficult to fit it into the hole created by a 3/4" holesaw. It was tapped in with a rubber mallet, and then I had to pry it back out with a screwdriver and pretty much destroyed it.
This pair of fenders went on a Jeep LJ after I bought them. really good, and the wires are thicker gauge than with some name brands, but if you wish to use them as a running light and a flasher, go with another brand. In most cases, it is almost impossible to tell the difference between flashing and on. To clarify, they're good during the daytime when you don't have your parking lights on, but once you've turned on the three-wire aspect, it's quite different from what you're used to. You can notice that they aren't effective while driving at night and signaling. I replaced them with a 3 wire LED from poison spiders for four times the price but the flash is 100 times brighter than the steady-state lights. Running light/marker is on (state on). You can use them equally well as running lights if you just want to use them as running lights. As steady as a rock In terms of brightness, it is in the same league as Thank you for your time. I hope this information was helpful to.
These are the three I bought for my Super Duty 2017. As you can see from the images, I installed them in the blank plastic plate that's located between the bottom of the tailgate and Each unit consists of a series of small LEDs arranged in a line it has a nice appearance. It comes with a grommet that fits into a 3/4-inch hole. The lenses are red, round, and grommeted. Wires are attached to them in three parts The black wire was the ground wire, the white wire was the marker light, and the red wire was the brake. As with the parking/marker lights, they start off dim and brighten as you apply the brakes. Marker light mode is used for the pictures. BREAKING UPDATE Having in New England, I am happy to report these have survived two winters without issues. I have had them for about a year and a half, no problems. It is a really good.
