Questions & Answers
Ours didn't come with any screws.
This will fit whatever size hole the TJ has. It has specific screw holes that correspond to the holes in the headlights.
Your headlights will have a black rim. A black or chrome insert surrounds the headlights on the Jeep Wrangler - This gives it a black appearance and allows it to blend in with your existing grill inserts.

In my 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ, I had to replace the OEM headlight mounting brackets. The majority of the spots were occupied by old metal OEM brackets. The side tabs' welds have been broken. br>br>The new mounting bracket is made of one piece of molded plastic, so there are no spot welds to break. Although the product description states that "screws are not included," it fit perfectly and came with new screws. a nice and welcome upgrade to the product!br>br>Easy to install - If you have a Torx screwdriver, you'll be fine.
This is a great addition to my 2005 TJ. As a substitute for chrome, these look fantastic. The retaining rings were also included in my purchase. As a result, the entire LX-LX-LX-LX-LX-LX-LX The LIGHT 7'' Round Black Cree LED Headlight, as well as the black rings and bezels, give the jeep a great look! br>br>One note on the retaining rings, as I won't be able to review both of them. Because it felt like I was stripping out the head of the screws that came with the rings, I went back to using the original screws (you get both in the order for each of these). It could have been the screwdriver bit I was using. However, the metal on the screws they send feels a little soft, just in case.
These were purchased for some Rigid Truck-related purposes. I bought some light headlights for my 2005 LJ, but they didn't fit. The inner diameter isn't even close, and fitting around the Rigid light would necessitate removing at least 1/16" of material, if not more. br>br>Following that, I placed an order for Omix- 12420 Ada 02 retaining rings, which are perfect for the Rigids. The u-shaped version has a nicer finish and is more durable. Box and they're also cheaper, hence the two stars, but I didn't feel like filing and Dremeling these to make them work on what is a stock headlight size. YMMV on other light brands, but stay away if you have Truck-style headlights. Lites.
Excellent craftsmanship. I purchased the set to use with a RX-100 from the first generation. 7 and new Hella headlights, knowing full well that it won't be perfect. Rather than letting the car sit while I searched, I was willing to make it work. The rings don't fit the Hella lights' contours, and the four slots don't match the housing's three. Two of the slots had to be secured to the housing with millieties.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these when they arrived. The fit and finish are excellent, and the rings feel substantial for their size, far superior to the stainless OEM rings. Yes, they're made of painted steel rather than stainless steel. They will rust, just like any other painted steel that is exposed to the elements and has scratches or dings; after all, they are on the front of a Jeep. Just give them a quick spruce up when they're in need.
I just got a set of these bezels for my 2005 TJ 4 and they look great. br>br>While two of the screw holes match the Jeep's screw holes, the third bottom screw hole does not. br>br>Now I must wait for UPS to return the pair to Amazon before I can receive a refund. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll order a replacement from the same company because I'm not confident that I'll get a pair with the screw holes in the right places.
I tried using the stock lights, but they didn't fit completely inside these rings. Make sure you have the correct specifications. The stock rings are easy to put on and take off. br>br>In addition, the screws are made of lead (I swear). They're extremely soft, so I stripped two of them while only lightly tightening them. As a result, I resorted to using the pre-made ones. br>br>I am unable to endorse this product.
