In a box, there are 40 wipe packages.
Any 3M product will perform exactly as promised. I can only say this about 3M and one other company. br>The need for reapplication will be determined by the initial quality of the application, the frequency with which it is washed, the amount of sunlight it is exposed to, the speed with which it is driven in the current air quality, and other factors. br>About 8 months ago, I applied it to mine according to the directions. The car was a 1998 model with very yellow headlights. Now that the yellow has faded, they look fantastic.
Using one wipe to clean two headlights is not a good idea. If the headlight is small, such as on a jeep, one wipe might suffice. No, if it's one of the car's large front-end headlights.
40, but they don't work

How much preparation work you do determines your chances of success. I always start by wet sanding with 3000 and 5000 grit wet/dry paper, removing any scratches and yellow tint gently. After that, I let it dry completely before using these wipes. It appears that the protection lasts for about 8 hours. It will take nine months for the yellow and fog to return. This is the case with headlamp covers that are more horizontal than vertical. They now appear and function as if they were brand new.
This appears to be in excellent working order. I applied it to my headlights a day after having them sanded and buffed, and I believe it improved their clarity even further. I haven't seen any yellowing or fade after a month. If you don't follow the instructions and wear gloves, you'll end up with uv-coated fingers.
I've used this on more than just headlights because it's so simple to apply. It can be used on almost anything to give it a lustrous finish while also protecting it from the sun. It can also be used to restore the trim on your vehicle.
I used 1000, 2000, and 3000 grit sandpaper to wet sand the surface. Then, with one wipe, apply the first coat to both lights, wait half an hour, and apply the second coat to both lights. br>It saves a lot of time and money compared to buffing or taping the car to isolate the lights for clear spraying.
They were 40/$23 at the time I found them. Just keep looking online; I was planning on purchasing more, but the price increased. I found exactly what I was looking for.
These items prevent UV light from fogging up the lamp cover once more.
If you already own a drill-activated sanding kit, these wipes will make it simple to restore any additional sets of lights. I like how it leaves a glossy, silky finish.
