This isn't a good match for that truck.
It is sold in a pack of three.
I simply bent a 1/2 inch right angle in an 1/8 inch welding rod and pulled it off with a clip.
They are compatible with my 2000 Ford F-150. 250, but because they were so flimsy, I went to Ford and bought original parts.

They look and feel exactly like the ones I removed from the stock headlights of my 2002 Ford F250 Super Duty Crew Cab. A HINT: br>br> To pull the clips up and off the headlights, I purchased a small long hook tool. It was not an easy task. I hooked the gap at the top of the clip and pulled up hard; there are You Tube videos online that show how to pull the side clips off to the side first using the little pick end, but I prefer the gorilla method. Unfortunately, the clip went flying, which is why I needed replacements. For us strongarm mechanics who do that kind of thing, these are low-cost alternatives. br>br>Anyway, they're nice and gleaming and brand new, and they look EXACTLY like the stock ones. br>br>YET ANOTHER SUGGESTION: To reinstall these, use your preferred hook tool (you could use a hanger bent just so). Doing it by yourself ensures that your fingers will slip off and down into the engine compartment, never to be seen again but heard as a rattle. Please do not inquire as to how I know this.
I felt sorry for them. I was ashamed of myself. This causes me to reconsider all Dorman products. I had no trouble getting the first one in. I just tried to shove it in with my finger on the second one. I had to straighten it at least three times before it finally fit. I suppose not having them would be worse, but come on, you guys. I believe they were made of a lead/tin foil alloy from an unnamed country.
When you look at these things in a crooked way, they bend and warp. Make sure you don't throw your money away. They appear to be made of four layers of glued-together tin foil. br>br> Because of the glue, only THAT would be more powerful. These can be easily bent with just one hand's fingers and thumb. br>br>Useless for difficult headlight mounts.
These . I don't think I should have given it a single star. These are junk items. They're made of a soft metal that bends easily. The originals are made of a harder steel that has been tempered. The originals were used again. They only needed to be cleaned of the majority of the rust. I just threw the Dorman's out the window. It's not even worth the cost of returning the item. It's all nonsense!.
When you try to push them into the groove they're designed to clip into, they bend instantly due to their flimsy and cheap construction. When I compared them to the original Ford clips that I had removed, there was a clear difference. These clips are made to fit snugly; otherwise, they wouldn't be able to do their job. As a result, some force is required to push them into place. Even light pressure causes these clips to bend.
If you want to be safe, order two sets (for a total of four). Because of the metal (zinc) used in the clips, I gave it a *** (3 Stars). The most suitable material is stainless steel.
They work, but they're flimsy and bend easily when you try to put them together. The ones made by Ford are significantly more durable.
Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) from a Ford dealer. These are very flimsy in comparison to OEM and are not made of steel or have any spring. They bend easily and do not return to their original shape. For about the same price, I bought them from a Ford dealership.
