Questions & Answers
These are not original equipment manufacturer parts. I modified these using an existing clamp as a model to ensure that they fit as OEM. Good luck
There could be four different headlight configurations on your vehicle, but there isn't enough information to give an accurate answer.
The springs can be manipulated to fit a variety of uses.
If your car has a spring retaining clip that looks like the one in the photo, you can probably find one that will work or bend whatever is closest to fit. Although it isn't particularly attractive, it should keep the bulb in place. Another option is to go to the parts department of your local Dodge dealer.

These are more than capable of completing the task at hand. It's a simple job, but it's necessary if you care about your safety while driving at night. br>br>During the installation of new bulbs, I snapped my bulb clip(far right). I ordered these universal clips in a panic, and the next day, I received a package of these bad boys. br>br>I took out the other bulb clip (middle right) to use as a guide for what I'm going to try to make. I chose a new clip (far left), grabbed my pliers, and started working. br>br>The metal was of good quality and required some effort to bend, which is a good thing. I only needed one pair of pliers because they were so malleable. br>br>Within 10 minutes of fiddling, I was able to easily create a new clip (middle left). br>br>I strongly suggest this product; it is a lifesaver!.
None of the clips were a perfect fit for the wire on my 37-year-old motorcycle, but one was close and could be bent to fit. The wires are a little thinner than those on the original retainer, but it still works. Despite my minor criticisms, I gave it a 5-star rating. The kit was significantly less expensive than purchasing a new headlight deflector assembly, and the clip could be made to function.
It was used to repair a 2004 RAV4's headlamp retainer clip. It was necessary for me to straighten and re-arrange everything. To make a replacement clip, bend parts of the first one. Two needles were used in this project. pliers for the nose. It was easy to work with because the wire was strong, springy, and flexible. I simply had to work slowly because the wire can break if bent too hard or fast, or if crushed. What a lifesaver! This part isn't available anywhere else, so Amazon will ship it to you. I now have extras in case I need them again.
Make sure you don't throw your money away. In this case, universal simply refers to "random. " Who knows where these clips are supposed to be used. They were all too big to fit the bulb secure mount, and even if one did, you'd be screwed out of the other unless you ordered two sets of all these random clips. They're only useful for non-related DIY projects that require pliable metal wire.
They're cheap, but so are all the clips that come with those headlights, which is why I needed to replace them. DO NOT attempt to bend them; they will snap! They do their job, but they could be more cost-effective. I almost bent a paper lip to mimic the one I broke, but I should have known better.
Because there were no OEM options, I purchased these and modified them to fit my BMW X3. I made it work, so instead of spending $400 on a headlamp and $300 on installation, I saved a lot of money by using the $12 assortment.
now you have to know that they might not fit exactly but you can make it work
You can make any of the retainers work if you're confident enough to change your bulb.
None of them were quite right, but I was able to adapt two of them to work with my headlights.
