Hi there, can you tell me what kind of car you have? Some vehicles don't come with H4 sockets, so you'll need an H4 adapter to swap the pin positions to get them to work properly (ASIN: B00H4H4A)(ASIN: B00H4A)(ASIN: B00H4A)(ASIN: B00H4A)(ASIN: B00H4A)(ASIN: B00 B01N5HLF7U) is a registered trademark of B01N5HLF7U.
Have you ever figured out how to solve this problem? I have a 94 pickup truck with only high beams.

Okay, I wasn't expecting much from a pair of LED headlights that cost $99 to begin with. The most recent pair I purchased were not DOT/SAE compliant, and while they produced a lot of light, they were not focused at all. These lights, on the other hand, produce a lot of light, it's focused, I can see at least 30 feet to each side, and the high beams are exceptional. It was very simple to connect the DRL lights to my running lights. br>If you own a Jeep XJ or YJ, you know how bad the stock lights are; these are well worth the money!br>Thank you for making a street legal, affordable LED headlight! br>br>Update 8/4/18br>These headlights are still in excellent condition; I've even used them underwater without issue. These lights are still one of my top picks.
I'm mostly pleased with what has turned out to be a very bright set of lights. I put mine on a 2001 Jeep Cherokee about 4 months ago, and they fit and worked perfectly. In comparison to stock halogens, the light output and appearance are vastly improved. My only reservation is that they are not error-free (even when the lights are turned off, they produce a small amount of light in the lenses: A load resistor, which is usually required with non-inductive loads, would resolve this. I've recently noticed a thin layer of ice accumulating over the lenses during my Utah Winter driving, thanks to the square front of the xj. While I haven't lost total visibility, these don't put out enough heat to melt the slush like the old halogens did, so you have to be careful to stop and clear them every now and then. Great upgrade and reasonably pleased with the price and quality. If not for these, I would have looked into getting an HID kit (better light, but more heat). br>br>Update: 12/19/17 br>The accumulation of snow and ice You should think about it. The lights themselves are great, but we just had our first real snowstorm of the year, and my xj's lights are - caked- Due to the snow, visibility has been reduced to zero. Today, the halogens would have been a better choice.
I'm a little disappointed that I spent so much money on light bars when these headlights easily outperform them on low. My light bars are now so dim that I can't tell they're on. My high beam switch is broken, so I'm not sure what the brights look like yet, but I'm sure they'll be insane with triple the light output. I believe a large number of people will consider them too bright and believe they are blinding oncoming traffic, and I believe you will be 100% correct if you believe that way. I don't care, and I'll gladly bling all the jerks with their stupid bright projectors while laughing as they flash their high beams at me. All the while, they have no idea I'm about to ruin their night with even brighter lights flashing back at them. In my lowered cars, I've spent far too much time dealing with their nonsense. Now it's my turn to exact my vengeance.
They're DOT certified, so they have a nice cutoff so they don't blind oncoming traffic. With the exception of the optional DRL, everything is plug and play. High beams produce plenty of light, and shipping, even from overseas, was lightning fast. I would strongly suggest it.
It's extremely simple to set up. I'm able to see now! For my 1986 Chevrolet K30 CUCV, I bought these lights. They were installed the day before yesterday. It's extremely simple to set up. You don't have to use the Daytime Running Lights, which I did. They are nice and bright, and the pictures do not do them justice! I think they're worth the money at $100. It will be interesting to see how they hold up over time, but so far, so good! There was no company logo on the box they arrived in. At first, I was a little concerned. br>br>In the photos, you can see the stock headlight versus the LED headlight. In August of 2017, shortly after purchasing my 2000 XJ, I purchased these based on mostly positive reviews. The daytime running light wiring was straightforward, and the lights were otherwise ready to use. To get a good and reasonably sharp cutoff while also avoiding blinding oncoming traffic, I had to turn the headlights down slightly. They needed more tweaking after the lift and 33's to keep their performance at its peak. I have no complaints for the price of $90. When and if these fail, I plan to upgrade to a much more powerful system. The difference will be fascinating to observe. Is the $350 set worth the extra money?.
They're lights, and they're bright, especially on back roads where there aren't any streetlights. I have these on my 2008 Chevy Express 2500, and I love the feel of the new lights on the road at night. I do a lot of service calls at night, and I love the feel of the new lights on the road. These lights also illuminate the road's left and right edges, which is useful when turning onto a different street. The white color light is much better than the yellow old school bulbs; this color picks up street signs 10x better than stock headlights. I believe it was a great price and a very good product with Excellent customer service; if you're wondering if these would be good for your work van, they're a great upgrade. Cool accent angel eyes and leds are DOT approved and will not burn out on bumpy roads like old school bulbs with a burning hot filament, which is probably why a lot of Jeep owners love them for off road bumpy 4 wheeling. I think I've said everything I wanted to say. br>Thank you, LX- Light! 💫.
