ordered the basic model from Amazon on Jan 5th, 2021, but did not receive the connectors or mudguard with it. After contacting the seller by Amazon's contact option, I received a prompt reply to ship the necessary parts--and they arrived soon thereafter. As soon as I got the connectors, I realized there was a defect in the mudguard. I contacted the seller again and they immediately sent out the correct part, which I have received today. Almost anyone who can turn a wrench could install this system. Despite the low price, I am very pleased with this product. It looks great and works seamlessly. The mudguard is definitely a game changer. There is not a word I can say about how good their customer service is. They have been exceptionally polite and responsive. The "contact seller" feature on Amazon can be used to communicate with the seller. Email is what they mean by that.
The price is great for what you get, and the installation was easy. Make sure you are careful when wiring this. Honestly, I do not know what other resistors would work for the signals. But for me, the gold anodized colored 50w 6ohm load resistors that can be found in multiple brands on Amazon worked just fine. Please help!.
As long as you want to keep the OEM turn signals, which I did, this unit works great. In comparison to all other fender eliminators, this one costs upwards of $90. In addition to the tail light, license plate light, and openings for OEM turn signals or LED blinkers (not included), the kit also includes an illuminated wiper. You can install it pretty easily. It was most difficult to insert the turn signal grommets into the openings (make sure you use the oval washers that come with the kit). In addition to wiring your tail light, you will need to modify your existing wiring. To create a clean connection, the plug was cut off the old tail light and the wires were soldered. The price was less than $45, so it was a good deal. As for the LED tail and license plate lights, we will have to see how they last. There's no way to tell until time passes.
A very sturdy bracket is made of good quality, but no bottom cover is included. You will have a large gap under your rear fender for water and mud to get into. There is also no small seal around the tail light, so I doubt it will last very long or at the very least will not get condensation inside.
I have included a picture for the wiring on my 2015 since I did not find any It appears on the Amazon page that there is a diagram of where the wires go, but it's unreliable This was returned because the rear fender mounts left a gap where the stock one would have been.
The CRF250L has been installed now. As a result, I did not use the led turn signals that came with it because I figured that without resistors, the front ones would blink fast. So I used the However, I thought that the gauge could have been heavier, but it still worked fine. A wire order ad was on Amazon. I opened the ad and looked at it. There isn't much in the way of instructions. I bolted up the license plate without a hitch. When I bought it, I was a bit wary of the fact that there were no reviews on amazon. That ugly factory tail system is the bane of my existence. Although I can understand how some may decide on the integrated setup where turn signals and brake lights are one, that is not the case here. I am still very happy with the.
All in all, this product is pretty well made and it is not too hard There is a serious problem with the brake light and tail light brightness. The light is no where near as bright as OEM and my riding partner has often commented on how dim it is and how poorly visible it is on day and night rides. What are my options besides taking out the entire system and replacing the entire assembly with a different brand of light? Is there a fender eliminator that has a light just.
It is very easy to It came with everything you need to install it.
A description that is not accurate. The stock lights on the 2020 CRF250L will not work. You'll have to buy old ones from the previous generation or you must use the ones that are.
