The bracket I hold in my hand was broken by one of my grandchildren when he tried to use it for a step to climb onto the utility trailer (mine was mounted to a thick, flexible rubber bracket installed by the trailer factory on the left fender). Now that I've got a spare bracket in case I need to use it, I have all the supplies I need. My bracket has no studs, only holes that allow you to attach the bracket and light with screws or bolts and nuts of your choice. Tiny rivets were used by the trailer factory. The shipment was delivered quickly and at a good price. A disadvantage of old units was that incandescent bulbs were used and the lenses yellowed. LEDs went in exactly the same way as the old ones, have excellent light output and are identical in size. As shown in the photo above, the old one is still in place to give an indication of In cases where more than one light is used, PREVENT using the old light. It's time for both of them to be replaced! Results are excellent. I am very pleased.

Don't waste your time with this junk

The trailer rolled out of the shop before it ever began to work. You had to wiggle the LED to make it flicker. The Grote model was switched out for a more robust version.

As time goes by, we'll know if it's waterproof or not. Light that has two wires would be useful to me. I previously had a license plate light with one wire and a ground wire connected to the frame. It was imperative that I find a ground in the replacement since I could not find one that was exact. was the perfect option for my needs, since it has leds and can be mounted easily.

In my JKU 2012, the stock light burned through the housing and melted it. It replaced a stock lamp that I had that was very dim, and it also came with its own housing, so it was a fantastic replacement.
