They don't appear to be when I put them on. You may only require the use of the heat gun once more.

Because of the increased dark overlay vs. the bright bulb, I believe it makes it easier to see. In some states, the only problem you might have is getting your car to pass inspection. To pass, however, you can simply remove them.

You also get a spare set in case something goes wrong. The set includes a towel and a cloth. Rather than following the directions, I used soapy water to apply it like a tint. Easy to use, no problems, and well packaged. I would strongly suggest it.
The first set looked fantastic, but after the first wash, it washed away. However, I just chalked it up to a minor setback on a low-cost item, and the seller responded by asking how I liked the product, and after I explained the situation, they sent me another set! Since then, I've been wearing this new set and it hasn't come off! Love it.
I was hesitant to purchase these tints because I was concerned that they would be too dark on a sunny day, but don't worry, they are fine. Set them to blink in the full sun and at sunset to see if they stand out. They will be visible to the car in front of you. The same can be said for the opposite light. It's fine; they usually shine at night, so don't be concerned.
On my 2018 STI, it was a breeze to install. It took about 5 minutes to complete the installation. Because the practice piece worked so well, I still have one available. Things that I highly recommend because they perfectly match my blacked-out STI. This is a simple and inexpensive mod that has a significant impact.
A squeegee and a microfiber towel were included, as well as an extra driver side in case you needed more practice. I didn't need the extra driver side in the end, but it's useful for newcomers. I used a heat gun and took my time, but I've tinted windows in the past and used my tinting products. Overall, I'd tell my friends about it. The first image shows the before and after, while the second image shows a comparison of turn signals.
*Update* I've been doing this for about a year and I'm still in love. The photographs were taken one year after the installation was completed. I've never had to make any kind of adjustments before. Excellent value for money! br>br>First and foremost, the cut was precise. The product is of excellent quality, and it was simple to set up. It's been 5 months since the winter season ended and the spring season began. There has been no peeling, fading, or other changes. The weather has been bad, so I've been doing a lot of laundry. It's held up well and still looks as good as the first day.
This is not the same as regular tinting. It's basically a sticker that you can reposition a few times to get it in the right spot. It's simple to get on and off without any air bubbles. Overall, it's simple to apply, looks good, and appears to last a long time to me.
Because of the price, I didn't expect much (and I'm familiar with all of the major vinyl manufacturers). br>br>Installation was simple due to the ease with which the vinyl material (and the tail light area) can be worked. Follow the instructions that have been provided. While some vinyls prefer to be installed wet, this one prefers to be installed DRY, with a little heat added at the end. br>br>The tint is dark (but not dark enough to block out light). On DGM, the signals are still visible) and it looks fantastic.
