They are only applicable to the rigid cube D-. Lights in a series. Simply clip them in place. They work well and are simple to put on and take off.
Rigid Series lights are standard equipment on the new Toyota TRD PROs for 2020 and 2021. I bought two of these for myself to use as foglights. It was completed last week, and my truck should arrive between October 26 and November 3, 2020, according to the dealer. I'll put them on and take pictures when I get home with my truck. When I inquired about a Toyota Amber light Foglight option, the salesperson at the dealership mentioned getting this. My most recent vehicle, a 2010 Highlander, has the Round style body style fog lights, which can be changed to Amber aftermarket. br>By the way, Amber shines the brightest in foggy conditions.

Rigid Dually DOT fog pods are equipped with these. br>Recent changes: This is a disaster. They aren't worth buying. They turn the beam amber in normal weather, which is fine except that it drastically reduces the brightness of the lights, almost making them as dim as my OEM headlights. They're barely visible in the rain because they're not bright enough to make a difference. In the snow, the lenses stay cold and don't heat up enough to melt the snow off of them, so after 5 minutes of driving, your amber light output is almost zero, and the light that does come out is diffused even more than the fog light, so it's barely lighting the road and sending light straight up into the trees, not helping to provide any contrast on snowy roads. br>An alternative would be to use a yellow plastic film that adheres directly to the lens, or to start with the Rigid amber LED model. I'm disappointed that I squandered $20 on them. Oh, and each pack only comes with one, so order two if you really want to waste your money. Perhaps a spot or flood beam would be more effective.
The light is a nice yellow color thanks to the amber covers, which aren't quite canary yellow but aren't quite amber either. ***A note about the covers used on the SAE Pro Rigid Fog Light Kit for Toyota Tacomas 16-inch *** They DO fit and click over the lights with ease, at the age of eighteen. With your fingers, however, you are unable to remove them. Because of the way they sink into the plates, you must first remove the recessed side with a flathead screwdriver or blade, then the covers will come out easily. To remove the covers, you DO NOT need to unscrew or loosen the lights; simply use a pry of some sort.
It is a perfect fit. The color of the light is a pleasant yellow. The only criticism I have is that they are sold separately. Come on, fellas. Make sure everything is in order. br>br>After reading some comments, I decided to buy two. br>br>I read on a few forums that they were having fitment issues and needed to be trimmed. I'm not sure what that means, but it sounds like it's a user-generated content issue. They fit snugly and only need to be put on at an angle, according to me.
Nice covers that are simple to install; simply snap them on and go. The amber color should work well in the frequently foggy conditions here, and they can be easily removed when not in use. I do wish they had not slapped their rigid logo on it and instead worked it into the molding of the lens itself, or at the very least made them a little less expensive, but I am satisfied with them otherwise.
This is a fantastic little product; for $20, I can change the color and protect my new fog lamps. The plastics are all orange, and they go perfectly with the rest of my truck. If you're looking for orange lights, however, this isn't the place to be. When you turn them on, they glow a bright yellow, which I love because it illuminates the trails and signs. As a result, I am content. However, you will be disappointed if you prefer orange lights. Also, taking them off is a little difficult, but not impossible.
Covers are of excellent quality. Rigid does exactly what it says on the tin - Other reviews mentioned a yellow color, but the ones I got are much more amber/orange than yellow. I intend to use it for foggy nights and mornings. They easily snap on, appear to be very sturdy, and are securely fastened to my Rough Country Cubes.
These were purchased to replace the spotlights on my truck. They add an extra layer of protection and are simple to put on. off, and give off a fantastic yellow hue (much more yellow than amber). They're also ideal for fogging up your spots.
