In the video, 1156 only refers to the bottom contact point, a single black point. There are two BA15s, one is 150 degrees and the other
It is possible, but replacing the flasher unit would solve the problem.
In case one received the wrong item by mistake, take the exchange/return process through Amazon and try going through it
It is standard in VWs to have circuitry that notifies you when a light bulb has burnt Incandescent light bulbs have electrical resistance, which circuitry measures in order to determine if they are working. As soon as the bulb burns out, there is no resistance, so you know it with the computer. Because LEDs don't have any resistance, the computer is confused and assumes that something isn't right. It tells you this through the symptoms you expressed. Rather than using a resistor in series with the LED, it is better to use a resistor in parallel with it A computer recognizes resistance and everything goes smoothly from there. Using an item from Amazon, which is specially designed for this purpose, I resolved this issue. You can install it in just a few minutes You will need to identify which wires are used by your turn signals once you have done the hard part. My 2010 GTI, for instance, has the black / white and black wires on the left turn signal. You should check a wiring diagram for your car or ask a mechanic to determine if your Jetta has a different system. You need to splice one of the wires from the resistor into one wire, and the other into another using tap connectors that come with the resistor. Once you've identified the proper wires, connect them using the provided tap connectors. No matter which resistor wire goes where, just as long as it connects to the proper wire to your turn signal, it will work. Alternatively, a mechanic would be best able to do it for you if you are uncomfortable doing it yourself. The same will have to be done for each bulb you convert in the future if you plan on making more LED conversions (since each bulb is recognized by the vehicle separately). In order for me to do this I had to change the bulbs for my high beams, my low beams, fog lights, turn signals (front and rear), taillights, brake lights, backup lights, and yes, even the license plate light. It is good to know that some LEDs come with resistors already attached, so you can save some time and effort if you find a LED that is like that even better, your results will be worth it, and you will not go back to incandescent lights.

A pack of 4 got delivered and I put them on my Ducati Monster 2018. In the first place, the measurements given here are incorrect, the bulbs are much longer than stock. Although the first pattern might resemble a 2641A, the final pattern is entirely different. There is no twisting which will allow it to slip in, but the base is too long and it won't fit. My eyes are glazed over with crappy sellers who lie about their products on their pages. For wasting my time, I have offered a negative review in appreciation.
The light from these bulbs is noticeably brighter than that from It was generally straightforward to install, but I did have to install some load resistors (Amazon B004EDF8HY) on IMPORTANT NOTE This is not the correct type of LED for a Volkswagen GTI 2010 Stock. These LEDs are used in aftermarket headlight assemblies I have. If you also need them, be sure to order the load resistors when you order the load resistors.
I am not sure if these will work on my 2015 BMW 328, but Amazon says they will. While they fit, they are still causing a problem. LEDs do not have the same problem in code (I've implemented that for every other bulb). My original BMW harness was destroyed when one of these bulbs burned out, so I had to order a new one from them. My car doesn't like them, even though Amazon's filter says they're compatible. They're bright and nice-looking, however they just don't fit my car. The rest of my lighting needs, including DRLs, rear turn signals, brake lights, and backup lights on my car, have been well met by iBrightstart.
It is being used as a replacement bulb for my rear turn signals on my 2014 Suzuki GSXR 600. are exactly what they said they would be, and are very useful. As well as my rear turn signal bulbs, I will be purchasing again soon.
My intention was to buy four of these to go on my Since the housing of the indicator was small, I had a limited selection of products. It took only a few hours on the bike for one to start faining The second one failed before I could replace it and have a spare. I ordered another two but, before they came, the first one failed as well. A few weeks later, 3 and a half of the original 4 fail. Then I bought four more, one to replace the one I lost and the other three so I would have Throughout my life, I have always stuck with incandescent bulbs, but I feel safer using the brighter ones!.
There is a broader range of light in them and they are exceptionally bright. It is faster to blink without a resister, but I think that distracted drivers will pay more attention to the fast blinking.
I liked the brightness and the full coverage of the light. On my Mercedes GLA250, however, it gave me an error message saying canbus misconfigured. In order to restore the old incandescent, I had to replace it.
This is the driver's side that failed on my Volvo XC70 four years after I bought them. They lasted for a long time, but they did fail. I'm not sure if it was 30k hours. . . three and a half years driving to the right.
