Do not buy these! The taillights of my 1967 Ford Galaxie have the LED bulbs in the taillights (they have two correctly spaced contacts on their bottoms and fit into the socket, with a twist, just like the old 1157s, so initially it appeared that they were going to as well as new LED light flashers, rumored to have bright running lights, brake lights, and turn signal lights. I brought the car to a stop once I noticed that all the lights on the back of the truck were blinking. Luckily for me, I was able to get the bulbs replaced at Autozone by a very helpful guy In regard to replacing the running lights with LED bulbs that are not DOT-certified The approval was They can also result in a ticket if they are run), and modern cars can also mess up the Halogens are now my preferred lighting source. LEDs would have saved time and money, but they were a waste of either.
Bulb experts seem to know little about light bulbs when they buy bulbs like these. There is no illumination of the bulbs when the headlights are on. The other bulb goes out as soon as the turn signal is turned on. All works if you replace the bulb with a standard 1157 bulb. These were the worst LED lights I have ever bought. I have many LED lights and they all perform the same way.
There is the same brightness difference between the brake light and the parking A small difference is felt when the brake pedal is pressed. A 1157 bulb is far brighter and would be comparable to this light. Also, this bulb feeds voltage back to wiring so that other bulbs can be lit which aren't supposed to light up. If you want to prevent this, you could put diodes in the socket or simply purchase a better bulb that has it. It would be better to replace these bulbs with led bulbs with greater brightness.
It works now, but the lumens are incredibly low, and there is a bad smell. I made a special connection just to get it to work. Taking the whole picture into account, this is.
There is a lack of depth in the base. You have to reach the maximum depth before you can turn it to reach the pins in the side of the My 67 Chevy stepside trailer was not capable of using them. They will not fit my 72 K5 Blazer or my 72 fleetside pickup bed trailer. Please refer to the image below for a detailed explanation. I spent my money in vain.
This bulb does not work. The 2 contacts in the bulb should perform the dual function of normal (low) light and brake (high). None of the contacts come on in the low light, and they only work in the brake contact. Returning this bulb.
As promised, the lamp was supposed to have 1157 two stage bulbs, but it came with only one stage every one of them, this is a bad deal, try another manufacturer.
In a standard 1157 socket, the bulb was able to be inserted and was working correctly.
