I noticed that my old ones had melted a bit when I took them out. To replace my old pair, I bought a new one. Until it began to dysfunction about six months ago, the last one lasted about six months.

As a result of the lack of positive reviews, I was hesitant to buy this. However, the price is good, so I gave it a try. There is a piece that fits back into the light housing, and it is not the same style as what is already on the car. As opposed to simply inserting it and turning it, it is a rubber gasket that fits very snug, so you must wiggle and push with some force at the same time. If you do that, it is very secure and goes in easily. The installation of this requires no tape or glue I am confused by these comments. I believe people simply did not spend the time necessary to install this properly. In addition, I experienced no difficulty with the lights not working or any flashing, and no error messages appeared. Comparing them to the OEM, they look much nicer. I gave this 5 stars since it was easy to install and works well. The review will be revised if they die within a month or if I suffer from long-term physical problems like others.

I have now upgraded from a 3 to a 4 star rating. Yes, I still dink it for the shortcomings listed below, but otherwise they have performed 5 out of 5 A five-star rating.
