First impressions are positive after installing it in my Outback. There are no polarity or blinking issues that others have mentioned when installing LEDs in some vehicles. I saw the LED option at the dealership and decided to give it a shot as a DIY project. I didn't want the bulbs to be too bright, so I chose ones with a lower lumen count. These have a lumen rating of 200. I don't have a light meter to test it, but they measure 5 on the Korona iOS app. When measuring the two map lights from the center console, there is a difference of 5 lux. The size is appropriate for the stock locations. There were no issues with the tips or not being able to fit them. I'm hoping they stick around.
However, it claims to be true. Details can be found in the review. I gave it a four-star rating because it functions well and shines brightly. They are, however, a little flimsy and susceptible to bending in some circumstances. br>br>The bulbs, like the factory bulb, are 31mm in diameter. The issue is that the factory bulb has flat ends that get stuck in the receptical end's cutouts. The tips of these bulbs are rounded. They are not incapable of working, but they are excessively long. This is not the seller's fault because all LED brands have a point. br>br>The factory bulb is 27 inches long if you don't count the flat ends. 5mm. As a result, a 28mm bulb should suffice to catch the bulbs' tips. I'm going to go with 28mm bulbs this time. br>br>This is from a Toyota RAV4 from 2001. As a result, if your bulbs have a flat end, these will not work. If I find any that work, I'll post the results here. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> So, while I didn't find a 28mm, I did find 27 and 29mm. I was worried that the 27 would fall out and the 29 would be in close proximity. br>I ordered the 29mm and they fit perfectly. It was a little difficult to get in, but I managed to do so without causing any damage. Once inside, I twisted the bulb in circles, scratching marks on it. I then used a rotary tool with a filing bit to sharpen the point by filing around the tips and marks. With a little more pressure, the bulbs are now in place. So, if you're looking for a Toyota, try Auxlight 6614. That is 29mm in diameter. br>br>However, if you have another vehicle that doesn't have this issue and can use a 31mm bulb, I'd recommend this one. It's possible it'll be a tad brighter.
Consider the following illustration: This Marsauto LED bulb is on the left, and the stock bulb is on the right. After one of my map lights burned out, I replaced all of the interior lights with this package, and the difference is incredible. I only put them in a few days ago, so I'm not sure how long they'll last. If it's necessary, I'll make changes to this review.
After purchasing a new vehicle, I discovered that the rear dome light had failed. I ordered the LED bulbs from Marsauto and was taken aback by their brightness! The fact that I tried other LED bulbs from Autozone and found that they were not only 2x as expensive as halogen bulbs, but they were also 2x as dim! Those were swiftly returned to me. It's a lot brighter from Marauto, and I'm getting a lot more for my money. It was well worth the money. I'm hoping they'll last a long time!.
This will be installed in the rear hatch interior light of my 2015 Prius Persona/Base. You must bend the light socket prongs a little to accept the longer (and fatter) LED bulb, as shown in various installation videos; however, this did not work for me. When I put slight pressure on the housing after it's been reinstalled, it flickers due to the lopsided fit; When you turn the switch on, for example. I had to tap on it once it was installed and turned on to get proper contact, so I decided it wasn't worth my lack of confidence in its lopsided connection. The bulb itself appears to be of good quality, and I use this brand's top LED 194 in all of my other interior lighting.
Place the dome light in place Despite Amazon's incorrect claim that I needed 36mm lights for those spots, the front vanity lights on my 2019 Kia Niro work well. (An additional point: Please double-check your parts filters or accept crowdsourced corrections from Amazon. I'm far from the first person to buy the wrong lights as a result of your inaccurate information. )br>br>Nice and bright, but I was fortunate in that I only needed three of the four included in the package; I lost a star because one of the panels snapped and broke as soon as I pressed the - button. a lot of thought I also managed to blow the interior lamp fuse while installing it, but that was more likely due to user error.
For years, two of our Accord's three interior lights have been burned out. When I went to get new bulbs, I came across these bright white LED versions and decided to give them a shot. It's an understatement to say there's a difference between night and day. It's very nice; it's bright, but not blindingly so. It beautifully illuminates the entire interior. It's fantastic for both convenience and security. Installing it was a breeze. I can't believe I've put off doing this for so long.
