The product does come with a standard 4-foot cord There is a flat connector that connects two ways.

How is it possible for it to be a LED light given the details above? A customer review says that the bulb is 1157, but where is the documentation? In what sense is it ?

Having purchased the unit which has a 1157 bulb, I have replaced it once in the last two years and it has been working perfectly This was the first time I had heard of an LED bulb. I hope this was helpful!

Is the light turned on when you walk into the room? Are you braking? What's the deal with turning left? Do you want to turn right?

The brake/tail light works just as I expected. It does not have turn indicators and behaves just like a traditional automotive brake/tail light. Added tail lights to the car. A bright-looking woman The brakes are on. The other way around is A classic filament bulb of the 1157 style is used.

It does not work in the 2018 Ford This was bought for a Ford F350 2018
3/5

Since I tow a 5th wheel, I do not need anything in my Class V hitch, so I thought this would be a good safety feature when we are not attached to the The F350 is our daily driver most of the time, so we drive it most of the time. It is the end of the plug cord that is too short. There's still a gap of at least 4", so I had to buy a 2' extension and wait another week to have it installed. In addition, when the foam compression ring is attached to the Class IV hitch that goes inside the Class V hitch as a sleeve, it is It would be extremely helpful to stack two of those in order to stop them from rattling. So my 2' extension will arrive in a week and I will connect it all. The system seems to work fine until I go for a drive. Once underway and at a speed under 20mph in our campground, I get annoying pings and noises on the dash. On the first page it says it is connected to the trailer. The message then switches to Trailer Disconnected 10 seconds later and continues to cycle back and forth between those two messages. It is a PAIN that never goes away. Then I unhooked it from the dash so that I no longer receive the annoying I assume it is useless for the vehicle I have. All is not lost, as I have a Jayco 5th wheel that is set up with a Class 3 hitch. Now, I have located the unit where it belongs. The Jayco trailer/hitch assembly is not yet a part of my test, but I am hoping the truck problems are not incorporated in it. It is possible they will do so I will just cut off the wires and use the reflector as is. The brake light did not work on my truck, which is a real bummer since I really wanted that extra level of safety. This is true.

If you add a tail, it should look something like this An added safety feature is the brake light! I decided to add another brake light to my Chevy Silverado after reading several comments about the product on Amazon
5/5

It's crazy to drive in a college town with over 50,000 students in full session when 50,000 are enrolled. My goal is to make myself more visible, so it's up to me. To do this, a brake light is mounted on the trailer hitch. Like others have said, I was also surprised to notice some drivers stopped further behind me than is usually the case. Because this brake light is located on the trailer hitch, it is at the lowest point, so some people stop at the spot where they can see the brake lights. Easy to install, but if you drive a GM product you will probably need to use a 4-bolt setup Besides the wire adapter, you might as well order a 1-foot or a 3-foot ladder It's either two feet or two feet I am 5 feet 4 inches tall This is an extension of the wire. It was necessary to use the 1 My extension is four feet, and I use the four-foot extension Wire plug adapter (GM uses 7-pin I have a round pin). Because of the light's short tail, it was unable to pass through the opening in the bumper where the plate is mounted because it was unable to meet underneath the bumper or hitch. Directly from the brake light to the adapter I did not want to run the wire. A black zip-driver and two clips were next used Wire ties are used to fix the wiring to the hitch bars, keeping it off the ground. Please note that There is a hole in the bottom of the brake light, where the wiring is located. Make sure this hole is on the bottom of the hitch when you mount it. The cover should be kept dry at all times, just in case of water.

The system appears to work, but there are some problems
3/5

I gave it three stars because first of all the foam gasket is too narrow to seal the unit to the receiver and it rattles a little throughout. The second issue was that the wiring got barely to the plug on my bumper because it was just barely long enough. Third of all, I keep getting these messages on the display in the truck that say (Trailer disconnected) and (Trailer connected). When I step on the brake or turn a corner, it seems to stop for a while, but restarts whenever I drive for a while. Fortunately, I did not find any bad connections. It is likely that the LED unit is not giving the truck's computer enough of a load to verify that something is connected to it since it is a LED unit. But in spite of that, the part seems to function as a break light and will light up when the headlights are turned It is just a little annoying to keep getting these ding dongs and pop-up notices on the dashboard.

Insurance for your rear end at a low rate
4/5

I bought this at Walmart, and I am so pleased with it that I ordered one as a gift for my brother-in-law The pros are The following *br A replaceable standard 1157 light bulb that contains two filaments is used for brake lights and tail lights (on when the headlights are The following *br I used this for my 2" hitch with no issues. The following *br I was able to wire my MDX 4 pin properly. The following *br 5/8" hitch pin fits with ease in the receiver pin hole.
- The lens has a small line drilled into the top that allows water to drain from the bottom if water gets in (just make sure it's mounted properly). The cons are The following *br To better accommodate various hitches, it would be ideal to have more than one pin hole (although they'd have to redesign it so that the bulb space is It sticks out an extra 2 inches from the hitch, which is not a big deal, but flush with the SUV would look more perfect. The following *br In the first few months after being used, the filament on the brake light burned out. I thankfully had an easy time replacing the bulb (standard 1157). The following *br In order to allow folks to easily rewire the plug, the wiring tape at the plug is visible, but in reality these wires should be covered and folks who need them can scrape off the tape if necessary. If you don't want colored wires exposed, you have to wrap them yourself with black tape. The following comments are included The following *br The number of tailgaters has decreased since I installed It amazes me how many drivers will give you more room when they see four brake lights flashing. The following *br It is much brighter to use the bulb version than the LED version (I would have purchased the LED version because the light would last longer, but it is not Keep people from walking away with your cool brake light by getting a combination lock hitch pin. Resettable Combination Bent Pin Lock for 5/8" Receiver by Trimax.
