For the price of $24 (with a coupon), I got an oil change. The Jeep dealer where I am a customer costs $99. In the same manner as always, the service advisor came by to show me what other services I I said the third brake light was out, and that was the one he was most concerned about. According to him, I may have to pay a fine. "Kind of, how much would you like?" I replied. There would be a charge of How can I help you? In response, I told him I was going to wait and try it myself. This particular bulb is an entire unit instead of a single bulb, which made it more challenging. In my quest to find out if this was accurate, I checked my phone to see if I could simply replace a bulb, but it was not. When I checked Amazon, I found this unit had such high reviews and was priced at less than half of what the dealer had It was skeptical of me, but I ordered it anyway. It was just a matter of returning it and paying the dealer to install it if I couldn't do My quick and easy process took me three minutes between when the item arrived and when I checked it out. Fortunately, I had the tool to remove the star-shaped screws in my inspector gadget suitcase, filled with tools that I received as a gift after my divorce, so I had no problem. The only thing I did to ensure the new unit was connected before I disconnected the old one was check the connections required (there were no instructions included Saving money whenever possible is a great feeling, and I saved a lot of money on this purchase. A nice rubber piece is on the underside of the new unit, which makes it look really nice compared to my old unit. It has a nice bright LED display as well.
Purchasing something is really a case of you getting what you pay for. Unlike other brake light assemblies you could find here, this one fit and worked just like (or better than) the OEM one. I replaced the OEM light with this one and it was perfect. We had to replace it within a few minutes. Replace the wire clip and washer fluid hose, snap off the two screws, pop off the wiring clip, and put back in the two screws, then put in the new light (every LED is internal). A factory original red plastic was the same as the tiny markings on the red plastic. In my old product, the fluid dispenser was black, but the new one is red, which I like better (probably due to a change in manufacturing after a certain time). I had intermittent problems with my old LED light. Even if I banged on it with my fist, it was passable, but I wanted its repair to be permanent.
I believe it is LED. It works great, but it is a bit pricey. It has many lights, so I believe it needs to be replaced all at once. There aren't just one or two bulbs! As part of this unit, you can also find a window washer squirter. There are two screws that need to be replaced. Please be cautious. Do not lose your old screws, since the new unit does not come with new.
It is an excellent OEM replacement item as described. It is an exact replacement for The Amazon advertisement claimed that the product wouldn't fit but they made a mistake, and the product by p/n was the right one. The light now works Getting the replacement done took me no more than 5 minutes.
My 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee is equipped with this product. That's a good fit for you. (If you have a Torx bit) It is easy to replace. It would cost around $200 to replace this at a local dealership. As a result, I ordered the part in 10 minutes and got it in the mail. There is no reason you cannot do it, either.
Original parts, like this one, are a perfect fit for my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2009. As with the original on my Jeep, it has the washer hose as well. (I didn't install it) It was half the price quoted by my local dealership. As my dealership had to order it, as well (! decided to take a chance and order it from this seller instead. My life has been so much better since I was delighted that my order arrived quickly (three days in a rural area) and was easy to set up.
