Selected User Reviews For Feniex H-2220 - Flasher
Including 20 positive trigger flashing patterns and 20 negative trigger flashing patterns, the Feniex flasher is a four channel flasher/strobe module. There are two channels in the module that are capable of output up to 5A each and the unit is rated for up to 20A in total. Each of the three flashing modes can be wired directly to a switch, so that users can toggle between different It is not included in the box a momentary switch that enables you to toggle between all 40 predetermined patterns. The four channels allow each corner of your vehicle to operate independently and the synchronization function can match flashing patterns across two or more channels as well. Despite the sheer number of combinations possible, consumers will never be able to exhaust them all. In addition to the LEDs, this module has several switches for observing the polarity and the pattern. If not, it would be very easy to seal the unit. It appears that the unit is fully waterproof, but if it isn't it is very easy to seal. It would be best to mount it as high as possible and as little as possible in contact with water, which would allow water to flow away from Considering there are so many ways to assemble and wire this device, the installation instructions for it are fairly straightforward. In order to wire this unit safely and properly, a bit of electrical system knowledge is required. I used both dual color and stand-alone LEDs in my system, as well as stand-alone LEDs in white and A 3 wire system is used for dual color LEDs Yellow is negative (-), black is positive (+ White is a negative (-) for amber and brown is an amber For white LEDs, use b). negative, if you prefer) goes to one of the 4 channels, and the negative to one of the 3 outputs. When I activate it on my 2020 Toyota Tundra, the white lights on the left side will flash together with the yellow and vice versa. I am a heavy equipment operator and a pilot who needs to move equipment on the highway. This system meets my safety needs and exceeds my expectations in every sense. There are so many possibilities that I have yet to comprehend and I look forward to learning more about its It is true that there are many flashers on the market, but none with the features found with the H2220 at this amazing price. The fact that it is made in the United States really makes it stand out. I believe that is the case.
In a nutshell I really like it. My LED array includes 30 eagle eyes, 4 small LED strips, and 2 long running board LED strips. They are all connected perfectly and work well. There is still only one drawing I can do because of all that. You can have 5 amps per connection and 5 amps per circuit. The total number of connections is four.
There are a couple of LedOutfitters light bars that look like offroad light bars, but also have blue strobes built in, split into left and right sides. The bars use a relatively inexpensive external flasher, but the one they supply is As for these flashers, I have always hated them because there is like 32 different flash patterns, and in order to get back to one you like, you have to go through the entire cycle of flash patterns. There really needs to be an even slower pattern for just that reason, since even the slowest pattern I use is still a little aggressive for being on a scene, but it does its job just fine.
A little tricky to figure out the wiring for negative mode but thanks to a company that reviewed it on Youtube I found out I needed to hold the sync wire to negative until the red or green lights went out in order to change the pattern so if that does not work try that as well.
I found the installation and programming simple. The fact that there are three modes is great - I was looking for one with at least two modes. In addition to the LEDs that indicate the present pattern, the flashers at the side also can be helpful. This is a compact and neat design.
We had to discard the unit due to its failure. Has never been employed. Not a single thing was lit It is not necessary to replace the fuse. I'm sorry but those instructions are terrible. This unit is returning to the supplier. This was a waste of time, effort,.
It's a great cheap setup that you can either strobe the grounds or positives. Wish it had more outputs but still a great cheap setup.
Wiring is very easy, it is a great size and I like the fact that it does not require wires like other flashers, so I don't have to mess with wiring.
