As long as the two magnets are properly aligned. Each box contains magnets and sensors. 2 magnets that are loose. The image will light up when the box is turned on until a magnet is placed over the sensor. You secure the box to your front door. Place the magnet across from the sensor on the door frame. It will light up when you open the door. As long as you line everything up before closing the door, it will turn off.
I have prime, so it will only take two days or less.

It's simple to put together and it looks great. After wiping the area with an alcohol wipe and allowing it to dry, apply the projector with 3M adhesive.

I was hesitant to order this item because I'd heard from others that they didn't receive the Sailor Moon component; however, it did come with this purchase, and all I needed were batteries to finish it. br>br>Because the instructions are only in Mandarin, I'll try to help—br>There are two magnets included, and they go in front of the sensors, which are next to the projector. The magnet must be at least half an inch away from the sensor in order for it to turn off when you close your doo. It will not work if you place them incorrectly; however, installation was extremely simple. br>br>The image will be larger the higher your door is from the ground, but even my small car creates a lovely image.
My purple Sailormoon car door light is one of my favorite things! It appears to be fantastic! I would have ordered a second pair, but they don't fit on my back doors. 😕.
The instructions are divided into four steps and are written in English and Japanese, as far as I could tell. Both devices come with a small magnet that you place on your car's door frame, which stops the light from projecting when it comes into contact with the general area of the projector. However, as soon as the magnet is removed (for example, when you OPEN your car door), the light turns on and your image is projected. To avoid wasting battery life, it timed out after a few minutes. For each, you'll need an AA battery. I believe there were two or four of them in total. I have no recollection of what happened. br>br>I would purchase these again. They're my favorite. So vivid and true to the image.
It didn't take long to set up because it was so simple. It also appears to be super cool. It appears to have a timer that will shut off if your door is left open for an extended period of time, preventing the batteries from being depleted.
They're also very colorful and lovely!.
Up until it broke, I thought it was fantastic. I assumed it was just a dead battery, but a brand new battery didn't fix the problem, so I'm not sure if I should get another. I bought it in June 2020, and it was broken by November 2020. We hadn't had any severe weather for winter temperatures up to that point. They are both ineffective. My favorite color Sailor Moon light is missing from my life.
