Not sure if it's worth the price. I've done two sets this time. With no issues, the white LEDs that serve as running lights and the turn signal work as designed (although my 2016 harness was not designed with the turn signal plug). On the other hand, the wide flood of bright LED fog lights is a The first set I bought in 2017 stopped working after 3 months and one of the fog LEDs quit. From the dealer, I got that set. The set I had wasn't good enough for me. Consequently, I decided to get another set of earphones. Similarly, one of the LEDs for the fog came out in the new set. I hate you. Cost is not always a good indication of quality.
This warning is for you. It should be noted that although the description specifies compatibility with Goldwing model F6B, you may have to improvise the signal lights. Turn signals cannot be connected to the stock connectors from behind the mirrors when using the stock connectors. The installation would not be complete without a couple of electrical wire taps (they are inexpensive). Hence, it isn't possible to plug and play 100% of the time. Plug and play is 95% of the time. In the end, knowledge is half the battle, and as long as one is prepared for a bit of improvisation, there is no problem. Four wire taps and some electrical tape are needed for the installation, as well as a few basic tools.
You will notice that if you have ever owned a bike with driving lights on it, you are much more visible to drivers. As long as I can keep them from messing up and hitting me, I value the expense. Although the installation is plug and play, I found that the connection to your turn signal was a major hassle.
There was an issue with the lights not aligning correctly with the cowl. I am not happy with the final look of the installation. There is no possibility of adjusting their brackets at this time. Several hours and a great deal of care went into the installation. Their function is as it should be.
I am very happy with it. It's easy to install and performs perfectly. I was very pleased with the seller since they delivered earlier than what was stated in their original shipment date. The tool kit is only a few pieces long and you don't need any additional parts if you are installing on a GL 1800 Goldwing. I was very pleased with the results, and it also looks great.
It takes a little time to install, but well worth it, the lights function as expected and look great. Cannot speak to longevity, but I hope they last for many years.
The only negative aspect is that they make your regular lights look terrible. The upgrade I'm looking for there would be great. These are easy to install, don't require a mechanic, and are exactly what they claim. Buy them, I did ).
A review of these fog lights has been on my to-do list for several months. It was easy to install (I like them) and I installed them on a 2013 GL1800. Even when the price was a bit high, I felt that the overall look, help and safety they provided for my bike was worth the price. My commute to work early in the morning without street lighting is difficult since I live outside the city. My safety was improved as these lights made it easier for me to see.
