It needs to be connected to a light that turns on when the door is opened. I'm not sure which one you have, but newer cars have sensors that detect when the doors are opened for the first time. So, what I recommend is that you connect a switch to take and close the window by itself, because if you connect it to the motor of the window, it will only work when you open or close it.
You can find the tutorial on YouTube if you just type in the description of the lights you want to use.
My dome light lead is connected to mine. But I can turn it on and off with a button. These leds have a great deal of brightness to them.
To connect the wire, you must remove your car's door.

This item is not compatible with a 2017 Jaguar F-Type. Pace RS . When I took my car to the dealership to have it installed, I was informed that it would not work because my car lacked door lights. In addition, the wires will need to be drilled through the door housing, which is a difficult task. This item was described as comparable in terms of functionality. I also took it to Car Toys, who claim to do everything, but was told it couldn't be done or that I could pay up to $300 to have it fixed. So now I'm stuck with a useless product.
It was simple to install the lights. When the door is opened on the side of the road, there is a great deal of safety. The bottom half of the white light is VERY bright! I am overjoyed! After that, I'll work on the back truck doors.
