They are easy to install. The kit comes with a pry tool to help insert them Despite the fact that the lights are bright, they are not very bright! My phone camera makes them visible when I take the picture, however they don't show up when I take the picture in daylight. I just know the lights are there because I see them in my closed garage with the lights on. It was the dash strip that caused the most problems, first the tape provided did not stick! There is not a second to spare! It's possible that I could have got around this, but I decided to try it out first. As it turns out, the fiber cable didn't fully light up the length of the cable! You can definitely see the difference between the two sides when it comes to brightness! I didn't see any pinched areas in the cable, and I guess it would be worse after I install it since I will have to bend it to make it fully secure. I like them a lot. These look stunning and add so much to the interior look at night/at the end of the day. There is no color to be seen during the day because the lights are too dim, and the led tubes themselves are too subtle to be noticed. During the evening, the lights are really impressive as things get darker outside. As it runs on the center console side up to the screen (almost like something from Tron but in a turquoise color), the solid lighting throughout the whole tube looks beautiful in almost any color. The next point I want to discuss is the smartphone application. Despite its simplicity, it's functional, and I've never experienced any lag or glitches with it. A great feature of the program is that it gives you the ability to choose any color and adjust the brightness, which is helpful, especially at night when you would often find yourself dimming some colors. Do not worry if you set the color to red, you will need to turn it up at full brightness to see it clearly. The installation itself was pretty straightforward, they provide a tool to help pry open the side panels of the center console to secure the tubes in place. The tool seemed too thick to insert into the trim without a small gap at first, but once the gap is large enough and the plastic insert is in the LED tubes, the included tool worked fine and I slid the tube in with just a little prying from both ends. As well, I suggest that you begin at the top near the screen, then slide the tube up to the screen as much as possible, then insert the rest of the tube down at Sliders or tubing adjusters are quite inconvenient and quite likely to put creases in the tubes if you slide the tubes back and forth after a good amount has already been placed.
