I forgot to mention that I used a step drill and slowly drilled the hole until the switch for snuggly was in place.
Anything mounted above the headlights or mounted for maximum lighter area would be considered for off-road use only. As long as they are lower than your headlights and not aimed in a way that blinds oncoming traffic, they should be fine. It also won't be able to block any part of your front license plates.
A toggle switch has been installed.
If you don't know what kind of ATV you have, check your stator to see if it's recharging your battery properly. This light consumes 120 watts, so if you only want to run the light, you'll need a 12 volt car or truck battery.

After spending hundreds of dollars on brighter bulbs for my car headlights, I decided to buy this light. They didn't last long, and I knew a light bar would last a lot longer and be a lot brighter than any bulb I could find. In the few months that I've had it installed, I've been pulled over a few times because it's so bright! I know how to angle it, and it's legal in my state in terms of light placement and rules, but the brightness was a factor each time I was stopped. I did some research on how I wanted to lighten it up a bit, and as strange as it may sound, I used a black legging! So tinting was a problem because everything is measured and cut to fit on your own, and if it was too dark, it would block out too much light. An undercover cruiser, believe it or not, came up with the idea for the legging. They use them both inside and outside to help them blend in. Now here's the deal: leggings stretch, and depending on the weather in your area, they will gradually degrade and eventually deteriorate over time. The leggings are black and measure approximately 2 inches in length. It was 5 feet long before I stretched it to fit snugly over my light bar. I tied the end to the power cord with a black zip tie, drilled a hole in the other end to access the Allan bolt, and presto, you've got an incognito bandito tinted light bar that will keep you from getting tickets!.
I'm writing this review exactly one year after purchasing the led bar; at first, it was very bright, and I was pleased with it; however, after a few months, the brightness began to fade, and it was no longer sufficient; however, it was still adequate for visibility. For three months (inside a garage), I was unable to drive my car due to an engine problem; however, I was able to do so today, and the light had some bulbs that were not working, as well as humidity inside the lenses. It's disappointing that a weatherproof device only lasts a year. I'll contact the seller for the 1-year warranty and update if the problem is resolved.
This bundle was simple to use and complete for my first time installing a led bar light. So far, everything has gone well. Quality, brightness, and ease of installation are all advantages. I installed it without drilling any holes and used the same washers as before. The only custom part was the mount screws, which I replaced with longer ones to reach the grill.
Item was not as described; all I received was a light with no switch or wiring harness; this is false advertising.
My only criticism of this light is that the spot beam does not travel as far as the high beams on the 2000 Yukon on which it was installed. POSITIVES (which last longer) include the ease of installation. To install on the hood, I purchased heavy rubber-coated magnets. With the exception of the switch installation, there was no drilling required. I absolutely love driving at night because there are fewer cars on the road, but I also like to keep my eyes relaxed by not straining to see into the darkness. Flood lights illuminate both ditches and the tops of trees, as well as the hilltops beside the road, which aids in this task. On the 2500-mile trip with the light, it helped show 8 deer and 4 elk that needed to be slowed down for, and it showed 50-100 deer. There were 55 deer that could be counted way off the beaten path. br>br>NiLight has been good to me over the years, as this is the 6th light group that I have purchased and used, all of which can be reviewed in a similar manner to this, with the exception of my 7 inch spot lights, which I have no cons for because they travel about 200 feet past my high beams on my other car, which my eye can see on the reflectors on a long straightaway. NiLights has excellent products, to put it plainly.
When I saw this one for $38 that included the light bar and wiring kit, I was a little skeptical. My Toyota 4runner, a 2004 model, required some modifications. There was just a great spot to mount it in, so there was nothing wrong with the light bar. I welded it to the front bumper frame in the end. The wiring, on the other hand, required some effort. The only drawback was that it stated that the switch wire should be run back to the battery, but it was not long enough. As a result, I snipped it and started over. I also purchased a Toyota switch h, which fits perfectly in my dash and replaces the little red blob of a switch that I had previously despised. Soon, I'll post a photo of the nighttime brightness!.
Nilight makes some great products for the money. The wiring was straightforward, and the entire installation took about 30 minutes. I have a few other Nilight products on my Jeep, and they all work great and haven't caused me any problems, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Quality products that don't break and are available at a great price. br>br>Don't listen to other people who complain about how much they paid for products like these; they're just jealous because they paid a lot more.
Not bad, I've had brighter, but they were also three times the price, so for $30 with a harness, I'm really impressed. The only issue I had with the harness was that the white plug was too large to fit through the grommet, limiting where I could use it, but I still like it.
