Questions & Answers

Which do you prefer, the triple row or this one, and why?

For more than a year, I've had an 18" long version on an ATV. The light easily illuminates the area 700 feet ahead. It really works. I also have a 12" version that works great on a golf cart. The kit comes with everything you'll need, as well as simple instructions. Best of luck to you.

What's the total number of luminions?

I'm not sure how many luminions it has, but it's a very bright light. I'd only use it off road, but it's a very reliable light.

What's the best way to get the black pieces to go on the bottom?

There are 1/4" slots on the bottom that you simply screw into place. I hope you find this information useful.

It was simple to set up, but after a few months, it died on me
3/5

On my S10, I required more lighting. I use it to commute in the mountains, where there is a lot of wildlife that likes to take leisurely walks along the highway. It is extremely beneficial to be able to see far ahead of me. Everything I needed to install this light bar was included in the package. Heavy wiring, sturdy mounting brackets, and a bright light all contribute to the high quality of this product. This light bar left a lasting impression on me, and I would enthusiastically recommend it. It was installed for a few months and then stopped working. I can't seem to find a way to contact the seller or troubleshoot the outage. The switch is still functional, but it does not light up. br>I double-checked all of the wiring for any open circuits. It has a good foundation. The only conclusion I can draw is that the light is insufficient. I'd like to get this warrantied once more, but I can't find any contact information.

I'm not cutting the grass with a flashlight any longer! These are incredible lights! Simply connect them to the battery, hide the cable, and install the switch
5/5

I can actually see now when I mow the lawn and mulch my leaves in the late spring/early fall. I don't have to cut the grass while holding a flashlight and listening to my neighbors laugh as they drive by. I'll buy another one when my current mower wears out.

Spend a little more and you'll get a lot more in return
3/5

This is what I put on my Kawasaki mule- Despite the fact that installation was simple, the headlights do not provide any more light than the 2007 headlights with yellowed lenses! A larger 20" bar would be far more suitable, and higher wattage would be preferable! I'm going to do it again. Use this as a cargo work light or a reverse light. Also, the switch is extremely cheesy! Change to a high-quality Rocker switch and you'll never go back!.

For the price, this is a good little light bar that is very bright
5/5

It really works. Harnesses and relays are also effective. If you're handy, it'll be a breeze to install. I mounted it on my John Deere e120 to provide more light when mowing late at night. In the dash, I drilled a hole for the switch; Under the hood, there's a snaked wire harness as well as other low-voltage wiring. The brackets are sturdy, but the hood is sloped, and they don't offer any additional adjustment, so I'll have to make a shim or wedge to get a higher angle. That's something I should've considered before climbing onto the hood. In any case, it still works fine there; I'm just being picky.

If you're on a budget, this is a good light bar to get
5/5

I ordered the mounting kit as well as the light bar, which came with a wiring harness. br>br>I wanted my quad light switch to turn on the light bar. My high beams, to be precise. I didn't want to use the included switch because I was afraid that if I went somewhere and forgot to turn off my quad, I'd return to find my quad battery dead and stranded. br>br>We built the wiring harness, but it was far too long for my needs. So, after ordering some terminals to make a jumper for my headlights so I wouldn't have to cut into the factory wiring, I was able to connect to the high beam wire to turn on the relay, allowing the light bar to pull its running bolts directly from the battery. As a result, the factory wiring would not be subjected to excessive current draw. This was a fantastic solution! br>br>The only issue I had was that one of the aluminum mounting blocks was miss tapped and had almost no threads in it, which I was able to map out with my meter. Nilight was delighted to be of assistance. They offered to send out a brand new light, but I declined and instead requested that they send out the defective part, which they did in about 3 or 4 days. br>br>At this point, I am fully functional. If I can, I'll upload photos and a video. When compared to my factory lights, it's like night and day. br>br>The bar was the ideal size for my Yamaha Grizzly 700's front rack. I did, however, mount it backwards so that it didn't block my rack.

This is a DIFFERENT kind of light! On the front of my Polaris ATV, I installed this light
5/5

It was extremely simple to set up. The manufacturer's drill hole size for the button would have been helpful, but I figured out that it was 13/16ths of an inch easily enough. br> In particular, on my first outing with the light, I discovered that it was extremely bright and easily illuminated the trail. Also, while riding, I collided with a rock / dirt cliff. I was astounded that the light casing had not been damaged and that the light had continued to work. The brackets that held the light to my bike didn't hold up nearly as well. br> I'm going to replace the brackets and reinstall the light.

There's a lot of bang for your buck here
5/5

It's a small, bright light. This should be attached to the front bumper. Square pods or traditional round lights did not appeal to me as much as the small bar did. It was simple to route and install the wiring harness. Enough time for me to run forward and route out to the light under the fender after crossing the firewall. The harness comes with the ability to plug in two lights, which is convenient, but I removed the blade connectors and replaced them with heatshrink butt connectors, followed by more heatshrink. The switch wire could have been a little longer, but it was long enough to reach the upper kick panel. No fog lights for the first time in a long time. Of course, this is an off-road light, but I expect to use it on back country roads. There are a lot of deer in this area. We'll see how it holds up to the elements over time, but so far it's holding up well.

For the money, it's a pretty good light
4/5

There were only a few things about the wiring harness that I didn't like: for starters, the harness was designed to accommodate two lights, but since I was only installing one, I cut off and taped the second one. Second, the wiring harness had 1/4" connectors for attaching to the light, but the female connectors had to be crimped onto wires on the light side, which I'm not sure why they weren't already on there. Third, a 3/4" hole was required for the switch when a 1/2" hole would have sufficed. 3/16" connectors were also on the switch. I wish they'd used 1/4" connectors all the way through. Finally, 1/2" diameter connector loops with 1/2" diameter holes are used on the wire leads to the battery. I'm not sure about batteries in China, but I've never seen a battery terminal in the United States that requires such a large hole. They were cut off and 5/16" connectors were installed in their place.
