The small packaging that I received initially worried me. But I was blown away when I opened it and saw the high-quality materials used to construct the LED strips! br>I completed the installation of my bed lights in about 3 hours, with the exception of extra wires, which I had to purchase in addition to the materials I received. The wiring that came with the kit wasn't long enough to reach the interior dash of my 2015 Tacoma, where I wanted to install the light switch. However, I had complete control over where the switch was placed. br>Overall, the light kit has exceeded my expectations! I've shown it to a few friends, and they're all blown away! I strongly advise anyone interested in purchasing this bed light kit to do so.

Over the weekend, I put these together. Running a power wire from the battery through the cab, under the bed, and up to the rear tail-light was the most difficult part. light. Then I mounted the lights to the bottom of my utilitrack rails, which wasn't difficult at all. Although most of the light is directed downward, there is enough reflection when it is dark outside to light up the entire bed. They come with a lot of wire; I had way too much on the driver's side, so I cut a lot of it out and spliced it into the passenger's side, which was long but not long enough to reach the driver's side, where everything is connected. Overall, if you have some basic electrical soldering skills, you should be able to easily adapt this to your needs. The warranty will be voided, but you'll be fine if you test everything first. Time will tell if the adhesive holds up, but make sure you clean with alcohol first. I saved the clips in case I needed to screw them in. I had to shave a foot off each length as well. All it took was a straight razor blade pressed against the cut mark. Overall, for $20, it's hard to go wrong.

I did, however, put them in my enclosed cargo trailer (7x16'). They do a decent job. I'm pleased with my purchase, though I'm concerned about the adhesive LED strip and how long it will last. stick. But I'm hoping there won't be any issues for me! The money was well spent. If these hold up, I might buy another set.

Very bright and simple to cut to length. The price is reasonable. br>The wiring harness that came with it isn't suitable for the job. Wire harness length is identical on both light strips. If you pick up power and put the switch on one side, you'll have a lot of extra wire to deal with, and the other side will be 3 feet too short, so you'll have to splice and solder to get the passenger side light strip back to the switch. Because this is designed for a truck bed, the majority of people will experience the same problem. When I emailed the manufacturer to inquire about cutting the strip to length, they requested a screenshot of my order. After I sent it, I didn't hear back from them. If you need to cut the hair to length, there's a clearly marked cut line.
1. Once installed, the product performs admirably. br>2. The wiring harness isn't up to par. br>3. If you need customer service, don't count on it. br>4. If I had it to do all over again, I would buy someone else's product.

I used to have a battery-powered device. In a company truck, Access operated a truck bed light. It took 5 minutes to install and worked well, despite the fact that the light strip was only 12 inches long. When I got a new company truck, I decided to see if the hard-wired kit was really worth it, and I can tell you that it is. The building is of excellent quality. The wires are a thicker gauge wire, and it appears to be well constructed. I tucked it into the back of the 7-inch box. It was much more convenient than running wires all the way to the battery if you used a pin trailer connector. And, oh my goodness, these lights are BRILLIANT! It took me an hour to complete the installation. I'm going to put some more of these in my other trucks! For less than the 12" Access strip, you can get over 8' of total light.

I don't believe the Chinese designers of this kit have ever seen a truck. br>There isn't enough wire in the right places to properly install this kit. They provide you with only 6 feet of extra wire, which is insufficient to connect your battery to the cab. br>br>Because the on/off switch is only one foot from the fuse and six feet from the lights, you must install it either in the gas fill door or in the engine compartment! br>br>You'll have to buy an extra 20-pack of cigarettes. To make this kit work, you'll need 30 feet of 18 gauge electrical wire. br>In addition, there is no way to mount the on/off switch. They must think it will just dangle somewhere. The lights are bright, and I suppose you get what you pay for with this kit. br>br> Expect to buy a lot more wire, wire connectors, and possibly a soldering iron, as well as have a basic understanding of electrical wiring.

I wish they were ip68 rated, but for the price and where I installed them, a fully waterproof rating isn't necessary. I used my own wire connectors, but the included hardware will suffice for most people. I like how the kit comes with everything you need and at such a low cost.
