Questions & Answers
Yes, because it's a universal fit.
It will, in my opinion, be the ideal match.
On one side, it's a very finely paded silver foil, and on the other, it's a soft plastic foil with a painting on it.

It does have some flaws, which is why I only gave it three stars instead of five. The first issue is that the window suckers can be difficult to adhere to, and as others have noted, they can pop off when it gets extremely hot. br>br>The sun shade also gets extremely hot to the touch, unlike any other sun shade I've ever used. It's a pain to take it out of the window while your fingers are getting burned. For any future upgrades to the product, they should consider using a better material. br>br>The most recent issue - which is, admittedly, more my fault as a customer for not paying attention to the product page's measurements- is that it's a little too small for our Chevy Impala from 2013. This sun shade would be better suited to a compact car, but it may not fit in full-size cars or larger vehicles (SUVs, trucks). br>br>The last thing that came to mind was that the instructions and packaging were in Japanese, but it would be nice to have them in English as well; not that it takes a genius to figure out how to use it, but if there are any warnings or tips on the packaging, I won't know what they are because there is no English on it. br>br>Overall, I think it's a cute sun shade for a compact car, but you should be careful when removing it because the heat can burn your fingers. I also recommend finding a different way to reinforce it because the window suckers that come with it aren't always effective.
Works? It's up for discussion. Durable? Not in the least. This attached certainly appealed to me in terms of appearance - Cars is one of my favorite movies. The initial wow factor generated by feedback from coworkers, family, and friends who all saw it installed in my car was definitely positive. However: br>br>
- It doesn't quite fit in my 2016 Toyota Corolla S Plus. There are approximately 3- 4 inches on top and bottom (depending on how high or low you want it). This is an issue because of the following reasons:
- It's only a sliver of a structure. When I open it, the middle droops inward and the bottom sags back into the cab a little, obscuring the presentation - regardless of how far apart the suction cups are spaced (thus tightening the bow in the middle and causing the sag to be pulled out by the cups). Another issue emerges as a result of this:
- The cups have a good suction, but the holes/hooks don't work well together, especially in hot weather. Simply put, the rubber of the cups heats up and moves over time, so when you get out to your car, an entire corner has slipped off/has been off for hours, ruining not only the function but also the presentation. br>br>Perhaps someone can make the case that it's a bargain for the price. I don't like that pass, though. I had hoped for something better, and this disappointment disappointed me. astonished Although it appears to be cool, it does not function properly.
It is not worth the wait to have it shipped, and it is not worth the money spent, in my opinion.
I can see how in other cars with larger windshields, it would give in with enough heat and flop inside. I've only used it a handful of times when going to the beach or on especially hot days. Again, I haven't used it very often and never for more than 7 hours at a time, so I haven't noticed any signs of wear or shedding. Even so, because this sunshade is so darn cute, I'd be willing to buy replacements.
I adore the style! Because of the universal fit, it may or may not fit perfectly, depending on the design of your vehicle. My middle has a slight sag, but that's due to my dash camera mount. Quality is acceptable. br>br> It'll start to flake over time, filling your car with plastic fragments. The suction cups quickly lose their suction and become flimsy in hot weather, causing the shield to fall down while driving. br>br>Having said that, I've ordered this shield three times because I like the look and get a lot of compliments on it. I replace it when it starts to flake, and each time I have to zip tie the suction cups in place to keep them from falling out when I store it.
So I was really looking forward to receiving this product because the front of my car gets extremely hot! I live in the Midwest, where summer temperatures are typically in the 80s, with occasional 90s. I was extremely dissatisfied with this product; I wasn't aware of it the first time it happened, but realized it the next couple of times. When it gets hot in the car, the plastic suction cups become very soft, and the windshield shade simply falls off! What good is it to have something to help with the heat if it can't even handle it? I'm dissatisfied and believe I've squandered my funds. I really like the design I chose, and I think it will look great if it stays up for a while. However, as the temperature in the car rises, the item falls off the suction cups.
I bought it for my wife to keep the seats in her 2013 Lexus CT200h cooler while she was at work during the summer months. When it's in place, it looks great, but I'll have to trim it down to fit around her rearview mirror better. I haven't given the suction cups a rating because she hasn't used them yet. She holds it up with the visors, which do a good job of keeping it in place. She's gotten a lot of compliments and requests for information on where to buy them.
