I chose the grey and black version because it perfectly matched the interior of my 2018 Kia Sportage. It did not arrive folded, so there were no creases to contend with. I decided to try putting it together without the use of a heat gun. It started almost immediately, much to my surprise. Starting at the top, I double-checked that no parts were tucked inside each other. I double-checked that everything was in order and that it was in the proper position. Because this was a two-tone project, I wanted the color spacing on both sides to be consistent. the apex and apex of the wheel It feels fantastic, and I'm very pleased with it.
I had a hard time putting it on. It only took me about 5 minutes to put it on, but once I did, I was in love! It's snug, so I'm confident it won't slide. My seat covers are also a match. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> It's been a year since I bought it, and it's still in excellent condition and appears to be brand new.
After five minutes of sweating and tugging and pulling, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this cover fit! It fits snugly and adds only a smidgeon of bulk to the steering wheel, not enough for me to notice, and the gray looks great with my gray Tacoma, even with my small hands. I'm a small, 39-year-old woman with small, possibly slightly arthritic hands, and I was able to get this on my wheel with little to no difficulty, so unless your arms, hands, and shoulders are completely useless, you should be able to get this on YOUR wheel with little to no difficulty. This was an excellent purchase that I have no regrets about.
This was the perfect match for the interior of our new Tundra. It blends in nicely and has a factory-like appearance, which is exactly what I was looking for. Because it did not arrive folded like many other covers, it does not have creases that may or may not be removed. One distinguishing feature, and the reason I chose it, is that there are no fake stitches along the outer edge. Almost all of the other covers do as well. It just doesn't look right when the fake stitches are along the edge and those edges don't touch. Be warned****** Very difficult to install. Do not attempt this by yourself; it will require two people. Simply begin at the top and have someone hold it while you muscle your way down. Allowing it to sit in the sun for an hour or two is beneficial. It doesn't move once it's on, though. And at around $10 shipped, c'mon, you can have it all day, every day!.
I should have given this product five stars because it kept my steering wheel cool, not warm. I'm in desperate need of oven mitts because I'm in the South in July. The quality is excellent, and the product appears to be of high quality.
This cover has a spongy, tacky feel to it that I really like. Its black/red color complements the interior of my 2017 Buick Cascada, which is red. Even though the Cascada has power steering, the tacky cover makes it easy to turn the wheel. I can turn the wheel with one hand, which is especially useful when parking, and the cover is a bit spongy, so it's comfortable to drive in for long periods of time. br>I recommend laying the cover out in the sun for a while to make it easier to place on the steering wheel. You should give this product a try because of the low price and good steering wheel feel.
and a better alternative to a heated blanket. This cover was a Christmas present for my husband. In the winter, his hands are always cold, and his steering wheel exacerbated the situation. He installed the new cover and has expressed his delight at how comfortable and warm it is. His only remark about installation was that it was easier when it was hot outside. (I. Try not to do it on a chilly morning when the material is stiff and brittle. ) He adores the materials, describing them as "extremely soft and pleasant to hold. " I was planning on getting him a heated cover, but after doing some research and reading reviews, it appears that wires getting caught in the steering wheel mechanism when the wheel was turned was a major issue. This, I believe, is the ideal middle ground.
With some effort, it will fit a 5th Gen 4Runner. br>br>Installation: I wasn't sure it would fit at first, so I rolled it in such a way that the lip was open toward the steering wheel, then rolled it on. If you give it a go, you'll see what I mean. It wasn't easy, but it all came together in the end. It's not going anywhere because it's tight but not too tight. br>br>Attributes: br>br>Attributes: br>br>At It appears to be fantastic. I have a blacked-out vehicle, and I went with the all-black option, which looks fantastic. Feel: br>br>Feel: br>br>Feel: br>br>Fe It appears to increase the circumference of your steering wheel by a factor of two. I wasn't fond of it at first, but I've grown to accept it. The wheel has a nice feel to it, with just enough texture for a secure grip. With the sun glaring down on it, I'm not sure how hot it will get in the summer.
