Cars with Racing Buckets will love it
5/5

I have a NA Miata that is set up for autocross, and the steering wheel made it difficult to get in and out of such a small car, especially with the aftermarket racing buckets. This was purchased to fit onto an existing steering wheel adapter and remove the wheel so we could get in and out of the car more easily. WORTH IT! I know this is a status thing or a symbol for some people, but in a car with buckets it 100% changes the game! br>br>One thing I'd recommend is getting the appropriate NRG short hub adapter if you're like me and getting this to remove an aftermarket steering wheel that has already been installed. If you use this removable mount with an existing standard size steering wheel mounting kit, you'll have to reach for the signal stalk, which is inconvenient. It's not a deal breaker, and it's not the seller's/NRG's fault; it was simply an oversight on my part; I've had it for 5 years, and it still irritates me every time I drive it on the road and have to reach a little further for the wipers, headlights, or signals. I'll eventually pay for the short hub, but that will require disassembling and reassembling everything, which I've been too lazy to do. So take your time and do it right the first time; you'll thank me later. br>br>Installation is not difficult, but it does take some time. Another thing to keep in mind is that all of the screws should be sealed with locktite. When I first put it together, I didn't use locktite, and the screws began to back out and loosen. I kept the hex key in the car and tested the screws before each drive, but after several tests/tightenings, I had to buy new screws because the hex screws were rounding. I used blue locktite to install the new hex screws, and they haven't backed out or given me any problems since then. So don't cut corners and use locktite on the screws the first time around. br>br>Great unit, solid build quality, well worth the money. Please don't scrimp and buy a low-quality product. To save a few dollars, I removed the name brand steering wheel mount. NRG has been doing this for a long time and has a solid reputation. You shouldn't put your life or your steering in the hands of someone who isn't a professional. just to save a few dollars on a name brand It could mean the difference between life and death in some cases.

It's practical
4/5

On my Mazda Miata, this is what I'm using. I'm not a racer, but I work in the travel industry and frequently park my car at work or at an airport for a week or two. It's nice to have an extra layer of theft protection. It also aids in the treatment of under-nourished children. When the steering wheel is no longer in the way, it's time to do some maintenance on the dashboard.

I used this, along with an NRG short hub, to install a Momo steering wheel on my 2006 Jeep TJ
5/5

br>When combined, the new steering wheel setup brings the driver 1/2 inch closer to the driver, which is exactly what I was looking for. Although the installation was simple, I did consult a YouTube video to ensure that I was following the instructions correctly. When the wheel is connected, the quick release is rock solid and sturdy, with no play. When you attach it, the bell "ding" is very satisfying. br>Excellent item.

The truth is Nrg
5/5

Because my car is flashy both inside and out, I got one of these for my other car for added security. The installation was quick and painless, and it only took a few days to complete. br>However, anyone interested in purchasing and using one of these should be aware that it is a major modification to the vehicle that not only changes the appearance but also changes the functions and performance. *Please keep in mind that you will also require a steering wheel hub in addition to this quick release. Also, double-check that the hub is appropriate for your vehicle. The AIRBAG and HORN are two of the most common problems with most cars when it comes to installation. If you purchase or do not purchase an aftermarket steering wheel with airbag, the current airbag will no longer be functional once installed. In terms of the horn, most vehicles manufactured after the year 2000 will not require bypassing or reprogramming. wired. Please message me if you need a quick configuration on how to install the hub and quick release with a working horn.

It looks and performs admirably
5/5

I tried all of NRG's QR models, and the 200bk still has the cleanest look and feels the most solid, no matter how many times you remove and replace your steering wheel!.

The color is fantastic, and it's simple to use/install (just remember to cover the ball bearings!)
5/5

It was very simple to set up (I bought an NRG hub and steering wheel) and even simpler to operate. Simply rotate the steering wheel 90 degrees after removing it from the hub to ensure that the ball bearings are covered. Simply press the button, pull the steering wheel out, rotate it 90 degrees (or less) to the opposite side, push on the wheel (it will not be properly aligned), and pull again. A thump will be heard, covering the ball bearings and preventing dust or debris from entering.

SRK-NRG Innovations NRG Innovations NRG Innovations NRG Innovations NRG Innovation The 200BK Quick Release is a quick-release version of the 200BK
5/5

The quick release is well-designed, and I don't expect any action for a long time. There are two sets of large chromed ball bearings, one for the top and one for the bottom, with springs pushing the balls into divets in the receiving piece. It's well-built and appears to be sturdy, but we all know that it needs to be well-built because if something goes wrong while driving, the company could face a costly lawsuit. As a result, physical strength isn't a concern. Because they are so expensive, I am not sure I would buy another. If I raced, I might have a reason to have one.

Quick release is fantastic
5/5

This item was delivered quickly and was well worth the money. The signature quick release ding is produced. It has a solid feel to it and appears to be of good quality. 100% deserving of your time and money The only thing to keep in mind before purchasing is that you will require a hub specific to your vehicle in order for this to work; simply search for nrg short hub followed by your vehicle's brand. You can do the installation yourself if you have the patience and the necessary tools. One of the simplest first modifications you can make to a vehicle.
