It's completely level. The edge is rounded, so it doesn't taper smaller if that's what you're referring to, but the sides don't protrude.
To accommodate a car seat, the seat is tapered: 18" tall x 20" wide in front and 17" wide in back x 1" thick The density of the memory foam isn't particularly high. On a hard surface, the seat is ineffective because it compresses at all pressure points, but it performs admirably in a car seat. I purchased two more after that.
Well, I don't think this car seat cushion pad will get hot in the summer because I didn't notice it getting hot when I used it for a few days.
Yes. The rubberized back is extremely comfortable. grippy. I put it to the test on a fabric seat cushion, and it held up admirably. I bought one and two more, just in case you were wondering.

This seat cushion, as mentioned in other reviews, would be ideal for insulating your backside from a hot leather seat, and it does have a rubbery side to keep it from sliding around on such surfaces. However, I believe you could do better in the cushion arena if you're looking for extra cushion for back pain relief, etc. br>br>The pad is 1. 25 inches thick. 5 - It's 2 inches thick and made of compactable memory foam that quickly compresses to essentially a flat surface when sat on. What other way could you have rolled it up so small to fit in a small, non-bulky bag? Do you have a big bag? br>br>I fly 747's across the ocean and thought this might help with my lower back issues; however, if you're looking for back relief rather than relief from a hot car seat, I'd suggest looking into an alternative seat cushion.
really. Let me tell you, I made a mistake and bought one of these instead of the pair. It includes everything mentioned in the description, as well as a few extras. There is no slipping on the seats, and I have leather seats. It's as if they are welded in place. Even in 90-degree heat, it's cool; think of Florida in the summer. My wife's legs don't get burens when she sits in the truck; she's 5'3" and when we park, her legs usually get burned if she's wearing shorts. The back support is incredible as well. It's just a set cushion, but believe me when I say it makes a huge difference on the commute.
This one, as well as one from a different manufacturer, were purchased. Both were excellent, but I preferred one over the other. This was too thick for a Subaru Forester because it raised me too high in the seat, and when used on the passenger side, the sensor that activates the airbag couldn't detect when a person sat down (due to the thickness). If height and passenger seat sensor aren't a concern, this one was slightly more comfortable than the thinner one, but only by a small margin. I also liked the retaining rings on the other one, which slid under the seat back to secure the pad and prevent it from drifting (though drifting was not an issue with the RaoRanDang).
I've now purchased 5 or 6 of these RaoRanDang Breathable Car Seat Cushions, both for myself and as gifts. Obviously, I am extremely pleased. The cushion is wide and slightly thicker on the sides for added comfort, and it has a rubberized bottom that clings to the seat nicely, preventing it from sliding and eliminating the need for straps to keep it in place. Even when the car is hot in the summer, it remains cool. I've tried a variety of car seat cushions and the RaoRanDang Breathable Car Seat is by far my favorite. br>br>I use the cushions in the car as well as on office chairs at home. br>br>On Amazon, one seller used to offer (and possibly still does) a "new" or "improved" version that was thicker (maybe 2"), but I didn't like them. I had to return two of the "new" version cushions that I had ordered. The "old" version is the best; the "new" version is harder and has no raised edges on the outside edges, making it less comfortable. Its extra thickness isn't beneficial to a car seat cushion (though it might be beneficial to a hard chair in a home, I'm not sure).
This RaoRanDang cushion is very relaxing. I bought one for my husband as a Christmas present because he complains about how uncomfortable the leather seats in my car are on long drives. I put it through its paces before handing it over to him, then ordered another for myself. It adds just the right amount of cushion to pamper your butt! It makes him very happy. When you enter or exit the vehicle, it doesn't move at all. The tan color goes well with the interior of my Hyundai Azera, and the measurements are accurate. The only problem is that the second cushion I ordered was slightly different from the first. The top fabric and dimensions are the same, but the backing color is different (but the functionality is the same), and the memory foam is less memorable. It doesn't appear to be as dense as before. It is, however, extremely comfortable, and I am extremely pleased with it. br>This is a product that I would recommend.
The color is a perfect match for our car's upholstery, and the seat is a perfect size ('15 Toyota Corolla). I'm not sure we'd ever take it out of the car, even though it came nicely packaged with a "carrying case. " It's a little "flatter" than I'd like, but everything else is fine, so I didn't take it into account. It's soft and won't slip on your feet. Anyone would benefit from this. I went out and bought another one.
It was packaged in a bag. It's soft, and the color goes well with my car's interior. The car seat color is light, which is ideal for someone who likes to wear jeans. It isn't bouncing around, but it is steady. There are dots on the back side that keep it from slipping, and even when I put a bath towel under it, it doesn't slip.
We've had them for two weeks and they're fantastic! They look nice, are very comfortable, and keep the seat from getting too hot when we get in because of the scorching summer heat. The best part, though, is that we don't have to fight them. They remain in place even as we repeatedly slide in and out of the car. These are the ones we have in our 2019 Tahoe. We saw the first signs of wear on the leather and decided to cover the seats to prevent it from getting worse. We're extremely pleased.
