The problem is that I am old- Hips and knees can be affected by arthritis related to this. During the day, I spend 8 hours seated at a computer (using a very expensive office chair). My comfort has been enhanced dramatically by using this cushion specifically for work and I am now feeling far more relaxed at the end of a long It's helped my hips to improve as I am not as stressed out as I used to be. There is no softness to it, but it is comfortable. As a result of the car's age, the seat is broken down, but it's a very supportive, well-built chair. I use it in my car. I could barely stand up straight when I first got out of the car when I first started driving it. Fortunately, the cushion solved the problem, and it has lasted far longer than I expected.
