But this product was so effective that I felt compelled to do so. My back starts to hurt when I drive for more than 2 hours at a time; no matter what I do, I can't find a comfortable position, and my back just kills me. This is what I bought for my four-year-old daughter. I didn't have any back pain during my 5-hour drive home for Thanksgiving. If your back (particularly your lower back) hurts you while driving, this product is highly recommended.

I was going to return it because, to my surprise, I couldn't stand itbr>AND THEN I realized it was too low on my car seat! br>I raised it a few inches, so the cushion's bottom was not at the seat's base, but a little higher on my lower back, and WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MADE! It's now the ideal cushion for my aching back and provides excellent back support while driving!.

I have arthritis in my lower back and have been looking for a way to compensate for my car's lack of lumbar support. Prior to this, I tried two other cushions that were too bulky, firm, and didn't fit the contours of the seat well. This one fits like it was made for the Prius, and it provides just enough support without digging into your back like the other two cushions I tried. I really like this cushion. It has spared me the expense of having to install a costly inflatable one!.

I have some preliminary criticisms after using this product. For starters, it pulls your body away from the headrest, posing a serious safety risk because your head and neck are no longer supported. If you were to have a car accident, you would almost certainly suffer a neck injury. Second, the foam becomes extremely hot. My commute is quite long. I couldn't make it all the way without stopping at a stoplight to get this thing off. br>br>Also, there isn't a lot of support near the lumbar. It was also a challenge to get the perfect placement.

This is AMAZING! I have back problems and have even had a laminectomy surgery. As a result of being rear-ended years ago and having my car totaled, I've developed fusion. The driver's seat in my current vehicle has lumbar support, but the passenger seat, where I spend most of my time, does not. I've used a variety of pillows and other items to support my back, particularly on long trips, but they shift and must be adjusted on a regular basis. I was ecstatic that it perfectly fit the width and length of my car seat. It's great that it has an elastic strap at the top that wraps around the headrest, and the protruding lumbar support is exactly where I need it on my back in my case. The rest of the seat back is cushioned nicely, softly, and comfortably. In one review, it was mentioned that the memory foam hardens in extremely cold temperatures. That isn't ideal, but I suppose I'll have to wait and see. I'm guessing that once the car warms up with the heater turned on, it will soften. However, some of the previous supports I've used were not particularly soft, so it might not be as bad as it seems. For the time being, I am completely enamored with it. It is ideal and relaxing. Oh, and mine doesn't have the bottom strap shown in the photo, but I don't mind.

For me, it's hands down the best. On Amazon, I've purchased three other lumbar support cushions, and this one is by far the best. For me, it's hands down the best. It's memory foam, but some of it is extremely hard and only softens as it warms up. Even though it's soft, it doesn't squish down to nothing when you put your weight on it. This one is very comfortable and provides just the right amount of support in the lower part; I'm very pleased with it.

Regardless, I adore it. It's a memory foam back conformer, in my opinion. It appears bulky at first, but it quickly conforms to my back's curves. The car vibrations on my back were significantly reduced as a result of this. br>I didn't think it was very hot. br>I like that the strap is elastic and adjustable, as well as having a buckle. This makes getting into and out of a bucket seat with a headrest a breeze. br>I have degenerative disc disease, "slipped" disks, and arthritis, and this fits my 2018 Passat perfectly. I used it on a long car trip, and I believe it, along with other aids, modifications, and rest stops, made the journey more bearable.

My Prius is great, but the seats are awful. I tried having custom-made seat cushions, which helped, but I had to try something else - whatever - else. This back support is extremely beneficial. So far, a couple of four-star reviews have been received. My back hasn't hurt in hours of driving, and I even use it at home to replace my office chair when I'm doing a lot of computer work.
