This wedge does not provide as much firm support as I had hoped. I consider the product to be much better than it deserved from the reviews. I like the look of it and it has an extremely soft cover, but I think it is more of a medium or medium high support A soft touch. dealt with lumbar pain for quite a long time. I have used seat cushions and tilting chairs to alleviate my discomfort. I don't find this cushion to be helpful to me. You might be able to use this cushion as a soft seat for a hard surface if you don't have chronic back pain.
