They arrived in the mail this morning. They have a special place in my heart. My 2003 Honda Pilot (249,000 miles) has received a makeover. Both of the front seats had been ripped to shreds. I had to use duct tape to fix the passenger seat because it was so bad. These covers are a good value, they look great, they're comfortable to sit on, and they make driving my old truck even more enjoyable.
Nonetheless, I noticed a couple of posters claiming that they worked fine and decided to take a chance. From side to side, the covers are about 1/2 inch too short. During the summer, about an inch, and during this colder-than-normal winter, about an inch. They are, however, perfectly serviceable, and I have no plans to send them back. The build quality is excellent, and the material is exactly as described (note that PU leather is not the same as leather). It's what's left after the top layers have been separated; It's used as a backing for a polyurethane sheet. Urethane is a type of polyurethane that is used in the construction PU - fabric). In fact, I prefer PU to leather for seat covers because I believe it lasts longer. It's also a lot less expensive, despite the fact that it expands and contracts more than "real" leather. br>br>On the back edge of the covers are two plastic "flying saucers" that keep the cover in place - They fit between the back of the seat and the bottom of the seat - Keep them in mind when it's time to take the covers off! They also have a metal hook in the front that prevents the cover from sliding backwards. I thought I was missing a hook, but after re-reading it, I realized it wasn't the case. When I looked through the package, I discovered it hidden in a fold. Elastic is fairly stretchy and unlikely to provide much resistance, but the covers haven't slid away from me yet. On seats that it fits, the pocket formed by the cover's sides will keep it in place. I just keep nudging it in one direction or the other on the Highlander. The front pocket is also a nice touch. br>br>In conclusion - These are a fantastic deal for the vehicles that are listed as compatible. For slightly larger vehicles, they're a great deal. I'm satisfied with the price. It is possible that your results will differ.
In my 2004 Acura TL, it's a perfect fit. The gray color is a little lighter in person than it appears in the photo, but that's okay. The seat cover is of excellent quality. It doesn't squeak or move around in any way. Installing it on the seat is also a breeze. On the front, there are two small pockets.
They are a perfect fit for the seats and can be used in a variety of vehicles. They're extremely long-lasting and have a premium feel to them. It's extremely simple to set up. More will be purchased for the back captain's chairs. br>br>I bought them for the captain chairs in the middle row, as well. The covers fit perfectly, despite the fact that the seats are smaller than my front seats. My captain seats fold down to allow access to the back row seats, and these covers keep them from doing so. I'm amazed because the straps for the covers in the middle row had to be attached in a completely different way than the front row, and they still fit perfectly. br>I've had the front row covers for almost two months and they still look and fit the same way they did when I first got them. br>I can't say enough positive things about you!.
With heated seats, it works well.
These seat covers were purchased for my Toyota Sienna minivan, which was manufactured in 2009. I wanted to be able to "slide" in and out of my fabric seats more easily. (I used to have leather seats in my previous vehicles. ) ) Installation was simple; figuring out where to hook the front flap elastic on the passenger seat was a little tricky due to the presence of a drawer beneath that seat, but I managed to figure it out. Perhaps because that side is used more, the driver's seat cover shifts a little. The front flap pockets are also a plus.
It will fit a Nissan Maixima from 1996. The color isn't exactly the same as the beige leather, but it's close. The issue is that these seat covers do not allow you to slide at all. They adhere to your clothing and grip it. As a result, if you try to move around, the cushion wrinkles. The padding is also quite thin, so the seats aren't particularly comfortable or soft.
To begin with, like many of these low-cost seat covers, this one came with elastic straps and buckles to keep it in place on your seat. Second, the small plastic buckles and parts that hold the seat in place are a greenish white color, almost like glow in the dark plastic; I'm not sure why they couldn't have used black plastic instead. br>br>Elastic straps are the worst for something that needs to stay put. Instead of using buckles with pull straps to ensure a secure fit, they opt for elastic straps. The cover's backing has some friction, but not enough to keep it in place. As a result, after the initial installation, they move around as you get in and out of the car, or if you slouch a little. I had to make some adjustments to tighten the elastic straps, but they are still not secure. It does the job; I bought these to replace my leather seats, which were driving me crazy because they were so slick that my bags kept sliding around. Although the vinyl-like material is less slick than my factory leather, the low-quality straps make these covers only passable.
