The Planted Seat Bracket is a vehicle-specific adapter that connects an aftermarket seat and its accessories to the vehicle's floor.

Because each vehicle's floor differs and is rarely flat, an aftermarket seat must be installed using a vehicle-specific Seat Bracket.

Brackets that have been planted are extremely durable. They're made of 3/16-inch steel, which makes the welds stronger and more long-lasting.

Other brackets can be bent by hand, but planted brackets will not bend or warp when exposed to heat.

Predrilled slots for sliders from most major aftermarket seat manufacturers, such as Braum, Bride, Cipher Auto, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, NRG, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sabelt, Sparco, Status, Takata, and others, make planned brackets more versatile.

How far back can you sit with these? I have the stock seats all the way back and was wondering if these would allow me to sit all the way back as well?

These allow you to install a side-mount racing seat in a Miata without the need for an adaptor plate and combo setup. The width of the side bolsters, not the seat bracket, determines the seat position and range of fitment. These brackets are fantastic! br>br>The distance you can sit back depends on your seat.

I needed a set for my SPEC Miata, but the photo showed it wouldn't fit. I spoke with someone at the company, and we both agreed that the car's previous owner had altered the floor pan. We also came to the conclusion that it would still work, so I placed my order. The fit, finish, and material all meet my expectations. I would purchase this item again.
