Questions & Answers
Mine didn't say you could put it anywhere in the car, and I'm not sure you can. For easy reach and access, the packaging suggests keeping it in the center console or glove box. I keep mine in the pocket of my door because it's the easiest place for me to reach it in the event of an accident; you want to be able to reach it quickly.
Cali G., hello there! Thank you for contacting me with your inquiry. The glove compartment, door pocket, or armrest box should be placed in such a way that they are easy to reach and do not rock when we are driving.
Hello, this hammer is capable of shattering side windows. Please note that this does not apply to laminated windshields or side windows.
Hello, tempered glass is not breakable with this emergency hammer.

It is very light. Unlike standard safety hammers, it does not have a shake weight. Breaking glass was a complete failure. Choose a different path.
One for my Jeep and one for my husband's truck, this was the ideal solution. They aren't particularly light, but I didn't want anything too light. While I gave it five stars because it is obvious how to use them, I hope I never have to find out how easy they are to use in an emergency! In general, I'm pleased with my purchase and intend to purchase a few more as gifts to show the recipients how much I care! Perhaps not the most glamorous present, but a gift of love!.
Installing it is simple, and the result is bright and easy to see.
It's difficult to write a review for a product like this. You buy something like this hoping you'll never need it (and you won't). The price is very reasonable.
These are incredibly affordable for such a crucial item to have in your vehicle! I gave five to members of my immediate family, four to neighbors I care about, and three to friends. Keep them in the center console or in the pocket of your door - It's possible that you won't be able to get to your glove box.
I purchased eight and gave seven to my local police department to use in their patrol cars.
Although they are light, they appear to be very durable. They were purchased for both our teen and our vehicles. If the base is not secured in some way, removing it from the holder can be difficult. They're also very reasonably priced.
Hopefully, I will never need these, but it is always better to be safe than sorry. Near me, a car flipped in a ditch, burying the driver, but others rescued him. You never know what might happen.
