Questions & Answers

Have any of you used this tool at a junkyard or somewhere else?

You can find many videos on Youtube, you just have to search for the shop, model, and brand. Every one of them seemed to be very successful with it. I have attached the answer to the question about vehicle rollover. If you hit them too hard, or if their windows were bulletproof, you failed to hit them hard enough. There is one tip that works on all brands for breaking windows. Hold the tip and cutter with your pinky on top of it and smash it if you don't have enough strength to stab it.

Are the visor attachments included with this product?

I believe it would be fine for a SUV visor, however it might be too short. Fitted a 2011 Honda Pilot but not a 2012 Pilot

Are visor sheaths included with it or do they need to be purchased ?

There is a visor sheath included with each.

In the blade area, what is the largest diameter that will fit? My objective is to use this when I free dive to cut line off turtles, dolphins, and seals. ?

For that, I'd say it should be about 1/2". If I have a chance, I'll put my calipers on it and give you an exact measurement. It's not what I use it for it's not for me However, I would rather do so for the purpose of cutting off lines when paragliding.

Get ready for any unexpected event
5/5

I was with my boyfriend, two days after purchasing this product, waiting to unload the car and take a walk by the beach. We were parked on a rock jetty about to As if by magic, a rogue wave crashed into the jetty, causing three cars to run off I was riding in the same vehicle as my boyfriend. A 5ft drop, swiftly followed by a roll onto its topside and flooding caused the vehicle to plunge into the water front-end first. This item was attached to the windscreen visors of both front doors of the vehicle and it was able to be smashed free. We were able to quickly and easily overcome a very dangerous and stressful situation by having this tool at hand. A second pair of shoes has been ordered for my new car.

The true meaning of the phrase "False Fraud Gimic" is to run away

I urge you to test this before you take it for granted. As a result, I hit the tempered glass three times with the StatGear and none of it broke. After that, I used a RESQME and the glass shattered with one spring strike. As you can see on my records, I'm just another customer with no interest in helping anyone out. There is a concern that people are trusting this and they should not! My next efforts were to cut real seat belt material and rope, and Unfortunately, this StatGear is pathetically dull and unable to do what it is intended to do. This time I tested with a RESQME and it was able to cut through true seat belt webbing very easily. They don't ship what they show in their video, but the product they provide does not work like the.

It would be a life saver
5/5

In my truck, I was involved in a rollover accident recently. When I tried to release my seat belt upside down, it would not work. My eye was caught by the green handle of the cutter after my initial shock from the impact and some panic over not being able to get out of my seatbelt. Since it was on the outside of my visor, I had easy access to it. My jaw dropped when I realized how easily this cutter cut through the seatbelt. This thing Despite the fact that I had to be cut out of my truck by emergency personnel, I still managed to move enough so that I was not in the way as much as I would have been if I had been attached to my seat belt. I now recommend this to everyone While we agree that she would be more likely to remember it in a panic situation with its bright green color, she said that the bright green is somewhat distracting. It is a very valuable product I would never drive a car without one of them on the driver's side visor. I highly recommend it. Included in the rental charge is a car rental. It is very easy to install. Here is a picture of the dashboard of.

All cars should have this as standard equipment! Purchasing something for the sole purpose of hoping it never comes in handy
5/5

I bought this well-made and beautifully designed escape tool for my cars and have placed it in all of them. I intend to buy more for gifts for friends and family. Installation is simple, and unlike other emergency tools on the market, it is not obtrusive. It was very easy to use and as I mentioned, hopefully I won't Please disregard some of the 2 star ratings and negative reviews, as this tool wasn't designed to be used for diving, nor is it advertised as one. There are over 150 types of stainless steel out there, so at least as a diver you should be aware. Most gear that will be exposed to extreme (salt) water uses the most corrosion-resistant version of stainless steel (one with a very high chromium content). As this is a tool that will be used for an uncommon purpose, such a high grade and expensive stainless steel wouldn't be the most economical choice. I suspect that they could not offer it at such an affordable price. If, for instance, you used this tool underwater, especially in salt water and it rusted, it's not the fault of the manufacturer or item, but your own for believing it The device is not intended to cut glass, but to break it rather than to cut There are two different approaches to cutting compared with breaking glass, and the material used for each depends on what type of glass is being used. Buying a glass cutter is the best way of cutting glass. It is most likely that you can damage the blade portion of the tool if you use this device to cut other material, such as wires, cables, ties, etc. Again, this is not designed for such use, so if you try to use it for anything other than what it is intended for, don't be shocked if you end up ruining it. This tool was meant for a very specific purpose. It's almost comical how many negative reviews or 1-star ratings are all from users who used the tool in an unintended manner. After that, they leave a review that is unfair as if they were duped. An emergency tool such as this one should essentially only be utilized in moments of crisis. The device is designed for two very specific purposes, and taking it outside of either environment or manner and trying to use it in a way that it wasn't intended for could cause damage and or make it.

You need to take care
5/5

In my truck, I was involved in a rollover accident a little over a year ago. It was somewhat luckily that I was able to remove my belt however, my truck was smoking and I found the whole episode quite a learning experience. I knew I had to have this after I saw My center console went flying and I found some items on the opposite side of the road after my accident. You're not going to be able to reach into the glovebox most likely. The same goes for an over-the-counter cough medicine (assuming it does not go airborne). It is so simple but so effective to strap your visor to your head, and I can say honestly that it makes me feel safer when driving my Then again But. One concern I had about this was the police. If you get pulled over, the only thing a police officer would see is that this guy has a blade above his head. Keeping it hidden. I have rain guards on all of the windows of my truck, and I have a curved frame so it stays out of sight at all times, but be aware of this. There is nothing legal about me and I will not pretend to know anything about it. That's all you need to know.

I was very impressed with the level of customer service
5/5

I am very pleased with the customer service and the quality of the product. There is no use in me needing to use it but I hope I never will. The problem is that I have visors that are way too large (7' wide, 18' As a result, it's too tight around my visor with the elastic and Velcro strap that comes with the tool pouch. My problem was brought to StatGear's attention, and they responded promptly and worked to find me As this appears to be a rare issue, there is nothing that can be done just yet. The team at StatGear took the time to work with me and I'm happy with the results. As a result, I will work on finding a solution to the strap issue myself. I was very pleased with my experience.
