I've had six vehicles in the last six years, and this is the first time I have had to take the key out to unlock it- The proximity feature is not available. There are a lot of keys you have, but this one is the only one I need to keep near me, so I keep it out In addition to protecting it from damage, it gives it a nice color as well. I like the case, once the cover is on, it is not as obvious as the description photo of purple, but it's still nice and I like the manual key. The key sticks a little too once within the case, but it helps prevent accidental openings so that's fine.

Overall, I like it. It looks good, feels sturdy, will protect the key and should hold up to a lot of I gave it a MINUS one star as the red color is not what I expected, more like a burnt orange, so I was a little disappointed when I opened it.
