For hunting seasons, but particularly when it comes to the late season, this works quite well. I look forward to the waterfowl season most of all! In order to maximize the benefits of dogs, waders, decoys, and lots of other gear, you must utilize every inch of the field or bring an army. You can secure three rifles or shotguns to the back of the seats in the front of your pickup with this. There is a hole on either side of the truck where the guns can be placed. It even allows you to prolong the life of your seat without hurting yourself. They are easy to adjust and have a secure fit. My truck's been equipped with my set for the past couple of seasons, and now I cannot imagine hunting without it, so I intend to buy each of my hunting buddies a set as well. There was a waste of money when mounting guns because cords fell out of clasps. Slings and bungee cords flew out of the clasps when the guns were mounted.
I am happier with the results than I expected. This seat raises firearms up off the floor so that the rear seat can be used to sit. One improvement that could be made is to tie the two sides together, as they tend to spread apart and short guns tend to jump out of one side. So far, they are holding up well. The 10 gauge fits a child's size down to the extra long. We have 22 rifles in stock.
This is used for all five weekends of deer hunting season. The rifles did not fall out of place while I used them. I just wanted to let you know. Your vehicle should have a center console if you plan on using this. It's not a good idea to let rifles sit out there because they'll get knocked around a lot.
I can say that it works if you are looking to open the back door of your hunting truck and grab your gun (but it is not recommended to do it at speed). There is no way the seat can hold three guns with the strap that latches on coming off twice when it was holding three guns. A strap that won't come out of the buckle is needed for it. It just took an eye to keep an eye on it once I knew it would come off. It gets 3 out of 5 stars from me.

Using the bottom rack for a 22 rifle isn't possible due to my Toyota Tacoma truck's center console and the seats that have moved in the front position. But we always had storage issues when it came to rifles moving around or when trying to keep them out of the way of other items on the rear seat. Now that we finally have a back seat!.
