Due to my disability and the fact that I live in a rural area, having dogs is sometimes challenging I don't allow my dogs to go on their own walks, play, or explore the neighborhood alone because of the coyote population. As a result of using a mobility scooter, some of my activities are limited. After putting on my old duty belt, I was able to carry a gun, but after awhile, I wanted to attach my shotgun to my scooter, so I turned to facebook to ask friends how I could accomplish the task. Could I remind you that there are many coyotes in this area? Nevertheless, a friend suggested I try them, something I had never previously heard of. My order for a pair has been placed. There was only one place where they would fit the handlebar As my shotgun is secured by these, I find it difficult to navigate turns, to reach the basket, and to find the key. It also restricts my hands' space I prefer not to have my shotgun with me, but I'll take it. I have found these to be effective. I can bounce about out in the fields while still having my shotgun right there so I can use it when I The product is great!.
We used them to make a 3-gun cart so we could move our guns around on match days! The program works perfectly!.
The thing looks like it might fit an Atv rack, but I'm not sure. As you can see in the attached picture, the mounting ring is about 3/4 of an inch too big for my Yamaha Grizzly 350 and about the same on my Honda Rancher (see the gap in the attached picture). In the end, I had to give up after spending one hour experimenting with a dremel tool and Simpson strong ties trying to get the fans to mount. One downfall is that these grips don't rotate like the name brand grips, so you can't mount them anywhere on the rack rails, I think it would be hard to mount these on most ATV racks for a two gun setup.
Each arm has a metal base that extends up. Their metal base makes them very sturdy. They are not adjustable due to this, however. It is not possible to rotate them. As long as the gun is aligned as parallel with the arm as possible with these attachments, I can use them at any angle from the bar they attach to.
I used it on my go bike hunting prep bike and I was able to transport my 30lbs with it. While I've used my 06 with scope and my 45 carbine, I have to try the bow as well. The outcome is still quite satisfactory for me.
My rifle does not bounce around while riding in the field as a result of the grips on it. Despite being a lightweight, they feel solid, and the steel runs from bottom to top. Despite being molded into the rubber, the rubber straps are not molded into the rubber so when they are detached, they fall apart. A small zip tie keeps them in place, however. It may feel too narrow or difficult to remove depending on the width of your rifle's handguard, but the important thing is that it grips and holds in these rough, uncertain.
The items are great, they hold tools and equipment securely and can be used for numerous applications, that is, if the bolt holes on two of the sets I ordered are not aligned properly and they are cheap mild steel bolts which will easily strip or break.
His ATV came with a rack so he placed the order on the rack. He is very pleased with it. On this day, he celebrated his birthday.
