Designed to fix a latch on a storage box, this product is a replacement latch. My experience with them was positive. I used them on two aftermarket boxes.

This was a bit of a challenge to install. My decision was to remove the pre-existing rivets and install a low profile nut/bolt combination in its place. You can remove the old rivets by drilling them out with an 1/8-inch bit, and then replace them with #6-inch ones Under the wheel wells, there are 32 stainless steel machine screws with nuts and washers. The replacement process will be much more straightforward in the future.
I would have given it five stars if the parts were original manufacturers' parts. The latches are a bit shorter than the OEM, so only having to lengthen the mounting hole by a small amount will allow the latch to fit below The stock price is way better than this one!.
There are only a couple of reasons why it doesn't get a 5 from me, the primary reason being that it should come with rivets for installation, or instructions on how to do it. As an alternative to drill-out the existing rivets and replace them with rivets of the same type that do not need backing washers, replacing them would be a better option. Because I didn't have any rivets of long enough length, I used a 1/2 inch bolt and a lock nut instead.
I bought these replacement s for my Polaris Sportsman 570, and they are excellent. If you would like to replace the factory rivets, simply grab some small nuts, bolts, and lock washers. The replacement only takes five minutes, and can be done with the factory front cover latch.
The latch on this Polaris 570 was purchased as a replacement. Even though the holes didn't match (which would have made the installation easier), it was still straight forward and not a It works perfectly with the new latch.
It is important to note that the factory rivets will need to be removed and either replaced or stainless steel hardware installed.
I highly recommend this product. It's very easy to install and the A polaris atv was purchased.
