Questions & Answers

Can this be used on stainless steel guns such as a walther ppk/s or sig p398, or can it be used on a scandiumframe with a ?

Even though it is quite powerful, if your frame is nonferrous, you cannot use it. Make sure the magnet is strong and then try it. A good job will be done by the holder if it works. The iron content of some stainless steels is high, while that of others is not.

The magnetism on both sides is the same? Magnets or adhesives are not necessary to attach it to a steel door?

I use a lever action rifle as a weapon, and the magnets are so strong I can't pull my lever action rifle off, so I have to slide the lever action rifle off. Metal doors can be easily mounted with this without the need to screw them

Can you tell me the N rating for ?

In general, I have no idea how to interpret the N rating. Though I have one mounted to the console in my truck, I found it almost too robust since it takes a lot of effort to remove anything it holds.

This is a great value for the money! My subcompact was fully loaded when I was a little skeptical a simple magnet would hold it
5/5

In between 40 and I found it easier to use when the gun was seated in a more ergonomic way (when there was less surface area for the magnet to grab on to) To my surprise - I couldn't believe what I was seeing I held on to it. I was very pleased with how it held up! Installing the software was a breeze as well! It was attached to the magnet with an adhesive backing, which I used to screw it into place. I had a little difficulty getting the screws to fit into the holes without sticking to the magnet In the end, although it took a few attempts, I was able to secure the magnet to my truck's lower dash by fabricating the screw to fit the hole. Thus far we haven't received any complaints If I were to need a magnetic mount for a gun, rifle, sword, etc. , I would definitely purchase it again. I like it D P.

I love it! What it says on the tin is exactly what it is
5/5

Holding a Smith and Wesson Model 5906 loaded with 15 rounds of 9mm, it is seen here. gun with a heavy magazine. Moving it would be impossible. As if you have to break it off the magnet to get it off. Several friends have asked for recommendations, and I plan to continue doing so.

Having your gun attached to this mount is a guarantee that it will stay put
5/5

I'm impressed by how strong this magnetic mount is. From the same manufacturer, I purchased two different mounts that can each support 70 lbs, one rated at 48 lbs, the other Although I had doubts that they were because they claimed so much strength, I ordered this one anyway to be on the safe side. After it arrived, I tried them both and I can tell you that these hold any guns It differs mainly in terms of the third magnet that's included in this product. With this mount, you could secure anything from a small handgun to a rifle or shotgun, and the whole thing is secured with magnets. Magnetically, these pieces of wood stuck to each other through a 3" thick piece of wood, so they definitely have a lot of Having the rubberized coating on the firearm mounting plate makes for a nice and safe surface that won't scratch the gun for the most part, since you're most likely going to slide it off the mount rather than pull it off straight away. Mounts come with adhesive backing, but they are really only for temporarily holding the mount in place until it can be permanently attached with the mounting screws included. As well as two lengths of screws, there are small plastic caps that hide the screw heads, adding a professional appearance to the product. These caps also provide extra protection against your gun being scratched by a screw. Think about using some of the 3M heavy duty adhesive tape if you are thinking of installing one of these in your vehicle and don't want to drill and screw into the console. There should be no need to use screws to hold it. This is a really nice mount that can be used to access your weapon quickly. I would highly recommend it if you're looking for something like this.

It works through Kydex and is STRONG! I have updated There is one magnet mounted on the center console of my truck, and it is large enough to hold both a fully loaded Glock 27 (in kydex holster) and four additional magazines with nine rounds
5/5

The 40 cal in it is a small one. Gun does not stick to the magnet when taken off or put on. What a cool device! My search to find out whether these magnets work with Kydex has taken me far and wide. There seems to be no difference between the product pages for firearm magnets, as the firearm is always shown directly on the magnet, without holstering. Clearly, this is a violation of even very basic gun safety rules, and not the kind of application I was looking for. If/when I needed to access my holstered firearm, I wanted to be able to pop it off my belt, rest it in my center console, but still be able to check exactly where it is. Taking it one step further, I saw an email on a gun board asking folks if they could test out the strength of a strong magnet to hold a gun in In my case, the results were not good There were a lot of guys who said they had a *30 lb magnet which barely held. Let me tell you what I've just learned With this, I can carry my G27 in a Kydex holster with plenty of power remaining! To be honest, I am kind of concerned it might be too strong of a hold to overcome it! My plan is to install the dock in my center console and put it to the test. It seems like this is going to be the one for me, As I have already ordered a second one with a pocket for storing my spare magazine, I intend to use it.

The magnets in the shape of donuts are yummy
4/5

Specifically, the warning states, "The adhesive backing is only supposed to be used for pre-application. " The purpose of this is to The mounting process. Using screws to install the magnet is a must. I feel like we need to check the spelling and grammar. While the product is nice for what it is, it is not a game changer. I chose this design because it has stronger magnets and fewer possibilities of scratching my firearm than others. One bad thing is that it didn't work well with a double barrel shotgun because the magnet surface area was small, by which I mean two or more of these mounts would be needed. Handguns seem to work better with this. According to the product comparison chart, two screws are better than four because they are easier to install. The effort involved in screwing in two more screws is not that much more challenging, whereas it provides a far more secure mounting option. There is one good thing about the screws going through the donut shaped magnets, but it would be better to mount 4 screws over three.

It's time to mount it! The quality of the product was excellent and I am glad to have purchased my second gun mount
5/5

When considering how big the mount is, the holding power is quite impressive. No toxic materials are used in the coating It is important that no weapon finis is messed up during marking. All three items could be mounted on the same mount, enabling me to have the handgun, the extra magazine, and a flashlight. It is truly amazing how powerful the magnets are and I am astonished how strong they are. In terms of installing the mount, it is a simple process, but ensure the material supporting it can withstand the force of the load. When that much weight is being pulled against a mounting surface, it can wear out over time. You can reduce some of the stress by sliding the parts instead of pulling directly on them. I think this is a great mount in general. I'm very impressed by the quality and finish of these mounts, and am doubly impressed by the way they hold. The mount comes in a small package, but it does the job well.
