Questions & Answers

Isn't this for the temperature of the water?

If it says water temperature in the description, it's for water temperature.

The threads on the oil pressure sensor are what size?

The sensor's threads are NPT 1/8"

Is this compatible with a GMLS 6? 0 engine?

This will work as long as you can connect the fitting to the wire. It's a cheap gauge with very small wires, so the temperature starts at 104 and rises. However, it is extremely effective.

Is it compatible with a 1977 Ford 300 6 cylinder gas engine?

My ATV loves it, and it has a great gauge. Challenger 700, a Cub Cadet. The engine is powered by gasoline.

BEWARE OF THE BUYER! THE REVIEWS ARE RIGHT WHEN THEY SAY THIS TACHOMETER IS JUNK
3/5

So there was nothing wrong with the shipment, but I read other reviews where people complained about the tachometer not working properly and being junk. Because they could have had faulty equipment or a bad installation, I decided to take a chance. My system was professionally installed, and I really liked how digital it was. It is, however, completely inaccurate. My rpms would read 1100 as I drove down the road. 1700 4500 3200 rarely stabilized at a given rpm due to its erratic behavior. It's fine if the speed changes by 100rpm. There is no change in rpm from 1000 to 2000. As a result, it was suggested that I install a resistor on the signal wire to filter out any unwanted voltage spikes. I had it done, and while it appeared to work at first, the tachometer was still inaccurate, indicating that my engine was spinning at high rpms when it was actually idle or moving slowly. br>So don't make the same mistake as me and take a chance; instead, opt for a higher-priced, higher-quality option. Thankfully, Amazon is refunding my money, so there's no need to worry about wasting money on the part that I'm not using.

The three gages all functioned flawlessly
5/5

In my 2011 RZR 800, I used them. The water gauge matches the dash gauge perfectly. Also watching are the oil and the amp. I waited two years to buy these gauges because of the negative reviews, but some people will complain about anything. ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

Thermometer for measuring the temperature of water
4/5

I purchased a water temperature gauge for my old pickup truck, and it is fantastic. I have only two pet peevesbr>1. The water temperature gauge must be grounded, and a separate wire must be run to your adapter (which is sold separately). br>2. Unless the temperature is above 104, the gauge will not read. It's a little inconvenient because the temperature stays at 104 until the thermostat is turned on.

If the data it's reading is critical to you, it's a little unreliable
3/5

I took pictures for reference if anyone wants to see what it looks like, and I installed the other two pods after that. I received the oil pressure gauge and chose it over other options available on the market because it was less expensive. I didn't care about the oil pressure as much as the other two gauges. br>It's a fine line for me, and it's difficult to say much in the way of negative or positive feedback. The gauge worked fine for a few days, then it started acting strangely. After being up to around 50 or so, it would say 0 oil pressure at random. It would go to 0 at times when it was idle. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with hard driving around the track and the heat simply cooked the sensor, but it could. I'm not sure what I'm saying. I tried running a new wire but it didn't make a difference. So’I’m’really’not 100% sure what wrong was wrong was wrong was wrong was wrong was Even though it began to act strangely, it continued to function for the most part; however, it was concerning when it would randomly say 0 oil pressure, leaving you unsure whether something was seriously wrong or if the gauge was simply acting strangely. br>As a result, I decided to replace it with a more expensive unit that is more reliable for my purposes. br>I'm sure it's great for other people, but I didn't find it to be reliable enough for me. br>This isn't to say it's a bad product; after all, it could be perfect for someone else.

Be careful who you buy from
3/5

'On June 18th, the order was placed; however, the item was found to be defective and was returned. In July, a replacement arrived, but it was inoperable as well. As a result of my experience, I believe the items I received were not individually defective in terms of quality or workmanship, but rather defective as a whole, representing the individual product. The biggest issue is that you are contacting me now, in late September, after returning and refunding two units. I contacted EccppAutoParts in June, discovered the 'do not contact us' Facebook page, and realized that I should have done more research before proceeding; while I was refunded, it took away from my production time and was a major inconvenience. 'br>br>Excerpt from a conversation that took place many years after two units were returned and refunded.

Okay, now here's the deal: It was a good deal
3/5

Okay, now here's the deal: It was worth a shot for the price, I mean, $18 for a digital tach! Okay, but for about the same money, I've had my Harbor Freight mini tach for 5 years. THIS THING HAS BEEN DEAD FOR LESS THAN A WEEK. I've already double-checked every connection. dead, dead, dead, dead This isn't something you should buy.

DO NOT PURCHASE; the gauges are completely useless! The gauges are terrible, they're all plastic, and they don't look anything like the pictures on Amazon
3/5

When wired up (it's just one wire to the battery and one wire to the battery - it's that simple) ) the gauge's "warning" light remains illuminated! It's always lit, regardless of what you're doing. br>br>If the other reviews are any indication, these gauges aren't worth the money. br>br>I figured maybe people are mistaken and I'll give them a chance, but nope, everyone else is correct! br>br>Do not take the chance of purchasing these in the mistaken belief that they will be suitable for you; they will not! The seller "E Support" is useless; in response to my message, they said, "Perhaps you wired them up incorrectly; ask a friend to assist you"!.

Good buy! My initial assessment was incorrect
5/5

It's unjust to have one star call this garbage. I was mistaken, and when you check the voltage from the gauge to ground, you should see a steady but very low D. Voltage. It took two engine warming cycles for my temperature sender to properly read the temperature. br>br> The temperature sender must be thoroughly warmed before the gauge's 104F temperature is passed and it functions properly.
